•Maddie's POV•
I woke up around 3 in the morning when I heard the door slam closed. "Shawn" I whispered "Shawn, wake up." "wh-what." .he asked. "there's someone in the house." he shot strait up. "what!" he whisper yelled. There was a broken chair so we both grabbed a leg and walked to the door then we heard movement upstairs. "call the cops I told Shawn." "what of its your mom?" "its not she went on vacation with my aunt for the next 2 weeks." Shawn called the cops And they told us to wait outside. When they got there we told them they were upstairs I opened the door for them and they went running upstairs.
They were soon back with a man in handcuffs. it took me a minute to realize who it was, "d-dad?"
Sorry for the short chapter but the next chapter wool be much longer and filled with lots of drama.
