There wasn't breakfast the next morning, Demi thankfully being off work, so she slept in quite a bit as well, definitely past noon when she woke up, sending a text to Axle, who was still asleep, but woke up to receiving the text message.
He groaned and rolled over, staying in bed for a bit longer, but he couldn't fall back to sleep. He checked the text message and got up, deciding he would join Demi for lunch instead since they didn't go to breakfast.
Axle got ready for the day, sighing a little. He wondered how the day was going to go and was wondering if Viktor would actually be open to at least some kind of friendship. He had gotten lost in thought and actually jumped slightly when he heard Demi speak
"Daydreaming already?" She asked
"You need a bell" Axle stated with a shake of his head "Let's get lunch, I'm hungry" He stood up and headed out his room as Demi followed with a soft laugh
"A bell, really? You just need to stop gushing over that kid" Demi said with a shake of her head
"You cannot tell me you're not curious about a real vampire" Axle stated and Demi huffed
"I mean.. I am, but I'm not constantly daydreaming"
"I'm just thinking.. I have to choose everything carefully if I actually want a conversation with him... Or I'll upset him.. again" Axle said, rubbing the back of his neck
"You're going to upset him a lot, I can already see it" Demi said and laughed a little, Axle groaning
"Thanks"
"No problem, dude" Demi smiled and looked around
"Where are we going for lunch?" Axle asked and Demi hummed
"We are getting chinese food, there's this guy there" She said and Axle laughed
"You just want an excuse to see your crush, huh?" Axle asked and she playfully pushed him
"Shut up, I do not.. plus he's not my crush"
"He most definitely is your crush, you must forget that I know you" Axle laughed and Demi whined a little
"Fine.. Mr. Know-it-all" She scrunched her nose "I like him" She pouted playfully
"Well, how about I help you and you help me?" Axle asked
"How?" Demi rose her eyebrow
"I'll talk to your guy, and try and get you a date, if you promise to help me befriend Viktor"
"Is Viktor the name of that that kid?" She asked and Axle nodded
"Fine, deal" She smiled and stuck out her hand and they shook on it as they arrived at a chinese restaurant
"Where is he?" Axle asked
"You want to do it now?" She asked in surprise "Wait, I definitely look terrible" Demi whined and Axle rolled his eyes
"You look fine, now where is he?" The male asked and Demi scrunched her nose a little, motioning to where he was and Axle went off while Demi went to go sit down.
