They drove the rest of the way in silence, except for the music playing that Demi turned up.

They soon made it to the store and Axle parked the car, Demi hopping out and waiting for Axle, checking her phone and smiling at it

"Texting your boyfriend?" Axle teased and Demi scrunched her nose

"He's not my boyfriend, yet" she said with a small giggle

"Well, I hope that date goes well then" Axle laughed "But you still can't ditch breakfast" He added and Demi smiled

"I would never do such a thing" Demi laughed and hopped in the cart, causing Axle to sigh, shaking his head gently and then pushing the cart around the store while Demi would grab things here and there between texting who was assumed to be Charles or Ash from Axle's perspective.

Once they went to pay, Axle felt this weird chill, looking around as he put the groceries on the conveyor belt with Demi's help.

They had a small, friendly conversation with the cashier as the female scanned their items and they got bagged by a male employee, whom they thanked and bid adieu after Axle and Demi had their things.

The two left the store, packed up the car, and then Axle headed to Demi's workplace to drop her off

"You're not late, right?" Axle asked and Demi shook her head

"Nope, actually a few minutes early" Demi said happily "Thank you" She said, hopping out the car

"It's no problem, text me if you want a ride home" Axle said and Demi nodded

"Will do.. I'll see you later" She said, waving and heading inside, Axle making sure and then driving off, heading to Demi's place to get her groceries put away so he could do the same with his own.

He debated on what he wanted to eat as he put stuff away at Demi's house, finishing up as he decided he would go home and make a Cesar salad, try and be productive for the day before he would go and visit Viktor for the night.

On his way back to his place, he spotted a face he had seen a few times that day already. He didn't think much of it since they didn't live in a huge city or anything, but it was still a little weird since he hadn't been out and about for more than a few hours so far

Axle brushed it off and drove home, putting away his groceries and then making some food. He was quite content with the salad and while he ate, he cleaned up around his house.

He wondered how Viktor kept his own house so clean, there hadn't even been a speck of dust anywhere, but he also figured that Viktor didn't have much else to do.

Axle cleaned up his house and once he finished, there was a knock on the door. He didn't anticipate anyone, so he went to the window first, peeking out and noticing that it was the male that he had seen a few times.

It scared him actually, but the knock came again and he sighed, deciding to open the door

"Yes?" Axle asked

"Hello, I'm going around, doing a poll. Do you have a few moments?" The man asked and Axle shrugged and nodded

"Sure man" He said

"Great. Now, as you're probably aware, there's an inhabited house and extremely large plot of land by the cemetery that we could use to help our city flourish but nothing seems to be happening there. A few others, including myself, believe it would be best to tear down the house, since it's been unused and no one has tried to sell it in years. May I ask your opinion?" The man asked and Axle took a moment

"I.. umm.. Well, you see, I... was actually looking to... invest in that house myself" Axle said, lying through his teeth, but the male seemed rather convinced

"Alright, so you're against the motion.. but for very good reason. If we could get at least something going on in that area, that would be great, we don't need areas going to waste. I thank you for your time, sir, do have a nice day" The man said and Axle nodded

"Thank you, you too" Axle said, having a very weird feeling in his chest.

It was still early in the day and Axle figured viktor was sleeping, and though he didn't want to interrupt, he also wanted to make Viktor aware of this situation now

The guy gave him a weird feeling so he was a little suspicious, but figured he wasn't heading in the direction of Viktor's house, so things would be alright for now.
