you gulped as you took in the news you had just been given.
"crap" you mumble

for a week now you had been throwing up daily and now you knew why.

you were pregnant. pregnant with your first child with your husband, Draco Malfoy.

now he had been wanting a child with you for a while now and you were still very unsure because it was such a huge step in your lives but he had always made it clear that he'll wait no matter how long it takes which you were grateful for. but now you were facing this situation and it wasn't even planned.

Draco would be over the moon with this news but you were now really starting to panic.

so you decided to apparate to Ginny and Harry's as they had recently had their first child

"y/n?" Ginny said as soon as you got there

"i'm sorry- i didn't know where else to go" you say letting a few tears fall

she dropped the dish in her sink and quickly pulled you into a hug
"what's happened? is it Malfoy?"

you smile slightly at her remark "will you ever trust him?"

she grinned "of course one day, but seriously what's wrong?"

you sighed and fiddled with your wedding ring
"i'm uh pregnant" you say

Ginny squeals "oh gosh how wonderful!!!!!!" but she instantly calmed down when she saw your reaction "isn't it?"

"i don't know maybe? it doesn't feel like it is" you cry

"what? does he not want a child?" she asks

"no he definitely does it's me that's the problem!!! i don't even know where to start about being a mother after all i've never actually had one" you trail off

your mother died when you were younger, she got a deadly disease and there was nothing anyone could do to save her so all you've ever had was your muggle father who was incredible but it wasn't the same as having a mother as well.

"oh y/n, no one knows how to be a mother, i had no clue and was also panicking when i found out but once i had Albus it just came to me naturally and you learn every day. you have every right to be scared but i promise you, you'll be just fine" she said gently

"i just don't want to let anyone down" you say

"you won't we'll all be here for you. especially Draco. you're not alone" she says with a smile

"thank you Ginny" you smile feeling a little calmer

"anytime, do you want to stay for dinner?" she asked

you shake my head "no i better get back, Draco is probably home by now, thank you though"

"okay well just owl me if you need anything and i mean anything!" she says
