you turn your head to look at your clock on the bedside table and quietly groaned when you saw it was 2:56am

you couldn't sleep and you didn't know why, your boyfriend however was sleeping peacefully beside you his arm firmly around your waist

you slowly relieved yourself out of his grip trying not to wake him and smiled as the blonde stirred in his sleep

you grabbed one of Draco's hoodies and tiptoed out the room and quietly went downstairs into the kitchen and rummaged around for something eat

Draco woke up a few minutes after you left and frowned at the empty space in the bed where his girlfriend should be lying.

he slowly got up and went downstairs to see you cooking some eggs and smiled to himself he truly loved moments like this it truly warmed his heart and make him fall even more in love with you if that was even possible.

he watched as you reached for some pepper but accidentally knocked the salt over to which you told it to shush like it was it's own fault for making a noise which made him chuckle

you paused and looked around your shoulder to see your boyfriend leaning against the door frame grinning at you

"why are you awake?" you ask with a smile

"because you left the bed" he replied

"you were sleeping when i left" you laugh and continue to cook

"clearly my subconscious missed you" he smiles walking over and snaking his arms around your waist resting his chin on your shoulder

you smile at him "fancy some eggs on toast?"

"absolutely" he replies letting you go to get some plates out, he then noticed that you were in one of his hoodies

"what's wrong with your own hoodies?" he asks you raising an eyebrow

you smirk "they're not as comfy"

"so you steal mine?" he replies

"it's my job to steal your clothes" you reply simply

"clothes?? plural?" he remarks

"Draco i basically stole half your closet in Hogwarts" you laugh "now stop complaining and do the toast"

"yes ma'am" he replies deciding not to comment further anyway he found it adorable how you stole his clothes like all the time.

you served the eggs while he sorted out the toast and then you both ate chatting about anything and everything after you both had finished you decided to go back to bed as it was almost 4am

you both walked into the bedroom and Draco got back into bed where as you glanced out the window seeing the sky was slowly starting to show signs of getting lighter

you look at Draco who was gawking at you from the bed

"what?" you ask and he sent a smile your way

"you're just beautiful" he replies softly

you roll your eyes at his comment but smile nevertheless and climb into bed with him
"oh behave" you say resting your head on his chest

Draco wrapped his arms right around you and smiles. he didn't know he could feel so much love and happiness for someone and it was the best feeling in the world

"what are you thinking about?" you ask

"nothing just embracing the moment" he replies quietly

"someone's feeling sentimental" you grin

"no i just love these moments with you" he says smiling down at you

"well we have a life time of many more moments to come" you say

"is that a promise?" he asks

"definitely. there's nothing i want more" you reply

"i'm so in love with you by the way" he says after a few moments his voice filled with love

you look up at him and smile as your heart does a mini backflip
"i love you too"

"i'd honestly marry you right here right now but i won't because i want to do it properly" he says looking at you

"you're so cute" you reply blushing slightly

"i just wanted you to know" he says grinning

"well thank you for sharing your thoughts because i completely feel the same way" you say and kiss him on the lips

he deepens the kiss but after a few moments you pull away
"now stop distracting me i want to sleep"

he smirks at you "goodnight my love"

and that's the last thing you hear until you fall asleep happily in the arms of the guy who you love more than anything.
