Narrator's pov

"Can you believe it? Our little Kate making it big in Hollywood" Ethan smiled as he sunk into the sofa
"She's be walking on red carpets and shittt" Jamie chuckled
"She won't even need to pay for hotels. Hotels will pay for her to stay there" Ethan gasped
"Plus she'll have some hot arm candy on her side, all the men or women will be flocking to her" Jamie smiled
"Can she send some of them my way?" Ethan asked
"My way. My way or the highway" Jamie sang
"Can you two be quiet!?" Kate hissed
The actors were all back in Kate's apartment, the brunette moved her hand around frantically as she searched for a little brown folder and anything formal she could wear
Auditions were just an hour away and she was still in her bra and underwear, looking for her resume.
"You haven't found it yet?" Ethan asked
"Nooo and I still don't know what I'm going to wearrr" Kate whined
The girl stood tall and ran her fingers through her hair before burying her face in her palms. She was frustrated and nervous at the same time. It was alot of pressure being placed on her back.
Its not everyday you get personally invited to audition for a Hollywood movie.
Then she had competition, there was over a thousand people coming in to audition today. She had to show something she didn't have.
What made her so special to get that part?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Well that's what Kate thought. She was already doubting herself and she hasn't even stepped foot out the door yet. Or have on a decent shirt.
Jamie and Ethan looked between each other while the girl paced up and down the room. They gave each other a look in their eyes that they understood
"Alright alright calm down, come with me and we'll get you something to wear and Ethan's going to look for everything else okay?" Jamie asked as she approached her friend
"But he doesn'-"
"Shhh, take a deep breath in" Jamie whispered as she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder
Kate shutted her eyes tightly, inhaling a deep cold breath and feeling it fill her lungs. She held it for a few seconds before repeating again
"Better?" Ethan whispered
"Better" Kate chuckled
"Listen to me. You're Kate, you've got this in the bag. I know you're nervous, there's so much pressure here to show up and give this opportunity a knock out the field but you need to remember where you came from. You graduated at the top of your class, there's no one else for this part, you're perfect for this. Don't think about what could happen if you fail or what could happen if you do get the part. Think about the moment, think about how efficiently you're going to do this. When you walk in there, you're gonna leave a mark" Jamie smiled
"You're going to make them never forget you" Ethan smiled
"Now let's get your sexy ass into something formal" Jamie chuckled and slapped her palm against Kate's backside, causing the girl to scream
"Damn, she's a screamer" Ethan smirked
"Was that not obvious?" Jamie wiggled her brows
"Idiots, all of you" Kate glared before she headed into her room
