Tension. It can be described as many things. The chemistry between two or more people that feel a burning urge within themselves to touch, to taste, to claim.

While others could be described as awkward, a feeling of uneasiness where your brain just wants you to run as far away from that situation as possible

Then there's some where you simply want to pop someone's head off because the anger within you is increasing with each second

So what happens when you feel all of it at once?

"Are you ready?" Kate asked as she glanced at her Co star

The two girls stood at the door, shoulder to shoulder and their eyes focusing on the three people approaching them from the driveway. Autumn's heart pounding in her chest was loud enough to hear

"No" she mumbled

"It's okay, I'm right here if you need me" She whispered

Autumn furrowed her brows when she felt a warm touch on her palm, the girl glanced down to see that Kate had intertwined their fingers

Her hand was just as soft and warm as she'd hoped and intertwine in hers. Her hand fixed perfectly in Autumn's, her long and thin fingers, completing the space left

That smile Kate held was the prettiest thing Autumn had seen in a while, it extended to her brown eyes and deep into your soul, setting her nerves silent. Kate hand a gentle touch, an honesty that was a purity in her smile

Her hands held Autumn's for no more than a few second then were pulled away and thrust back into the pockets of her soft pants when the two adults reached the door

"Ugh God, this is where you're living?" A tall woman said in disgust when her eyes landed inside the house

She looked nothing far from a typical blonde movie star actress in the 80's. Her hair was fluffy with a crow hat on her head. The woman stood there in her white tress that started a bit below her chin and hugged her entire body with smooth curves, stopping to her heels. Her jawline was sharp, enough to cut the body of her enemies. A blood-red lipstick met her lips to match her long acrylic nails. There wasn't a spot wrinkle on her face, it seem as if it was chisled from a tan stone, ever so perfect

She lifted her shades from her eyes and tucked it onto her puffy black hair and Kate's breath hitched in her throat. Her sparkling green eyes held all of the colour of the forest in one with just a touch of the ocean flooding. The brunette could definitely see where Autumn got her looks from

"Evening to you too. Mother" Autumn gritted through her teeth

"Don't call me mother, it makes me feel old" The woman scoffed

"Then what the hell are you?" Autumn hissed

Kate mentally cringe to herself at the small tension between the two women. Autumn's mother glanced in her direction and gave her a stone death glare

"Is that how I raised you to talk to me!?" She asked

"Raise me? RAISE ME? YOU DIDN'T RAISE ME AT ALL" Autumn yelled

"Okayyy, I think we should all just head over to the dining room" Kate said, pulling the attention away from their heated tension

But she might have regretted that since another pair of eyes landed on her. Kate swallowed a lump in her throat when she came face to face with a tall raven hair man, his hair was combed over and slicked back, his blue eyes looked almost electric, shocking those nearby with lightening. His square shaped jawline had a freshly shaved beard, his red suit hugged his muscular body as he stepped into the house
