My real name is Rich, but I prefer to be called Crim. It came from my pen name, Crimson Ink. I am a 20-year-old writer, and my work "She Bleeds at Dawn: A Poetry and Prose Collection", was recently published by LS Publishing. I have been an editor-in-chief since middle school, and I've participated in various writing and speaking contests. I am confident with my skills in English, and I really want to share my knowledge about writing to other aspiring authors like me. I want you guys to know that I will never criticize your stories in a way that will hurt your feelings. I am here to show you where you can improve, and give you tips on how to be a better writer. Remember, your job is not to impress me, but express yourself as a writer, and show me who you are and what you can do.

I focus on the uniqueness of the story, the plot, chapter cohesion, and of course, grammar. I want to see how you can hook me to your storyline. I am not easily impressed so it will be quite a challenge. I want to see how you connect chapters, and how they are intertwined with each other. Some stories have chapters that are not related, making it seem like every chapter is a different story. I also want to see how fitting your cover is towards the plot. It doesn't have to be pretty; it has to be related. I can be very technical when it comes to reviewing stories, so I will call you out on wrong subject-verb agreements, your spelling, punctuation, and capitalization, and your tenses. I look for the beauty in the simplicity of how a story was created.
