Stiles' POV

We ran in the preserve past the Hale burnt house down to the deeper part of the preserve. Isaac howled in happiness before doing a flip. Derek and Peter were happy. I could feel their emotions flow around us in waves making me more confident.

I'm glad I had magic powers so now I could catch up with them in whatever speed they took off. This was my first run with them. It made me feel like a bond was being created between us.. It had a sense of belonging making me feel that this was a pack where I belonged and no matter what happens, the far we've come we'll make it through anything.

I know I couldn't have gained all these if it weren't for Lux who came in my life. I was in darkness and she became the light in my life, is that why her parents named her 'Lux'?. I really love her because she has shown me that there's a lot to life than having despair and acting like a damsel in distress. With her, I got hope and a new found strength, I'm not afraid of what tomorrow holds, certainly not.

"Stiles, did you hear that?". Derek asked pulling me from my cloud of thoughts back to reality. They were slowing down to a stop.

"Hear what?". I questioned, puzzled because I couldn't hear anything. I huffed in annoyance, "I don't have Wolfy hearing like you guys do". I added after seeing Peter and Isaac looking at me questioningly.

"You don't need Wolfy sense to hear what's going on. I can hear it too. It's not far from here". Malia said.

I scooted closer as I focused. I heard it too. How silly of me, it was loud enough for anyone to hear.
