Never had I expected that Queen Bee would keep an eye on me closely as I was working on the mission. I had deeply fallen in love with Leon. I knew I had made her unhappy. Not because having emotions for your targets is considered a sin, but because I had ruined her plans.

Her plans for me were different. She had a son from her previous marriage, I had never seen him before. He was sent away to study overseas long before I got to know of Pledis. When she saw me for the first time, she knew I had the potential to become a fearless assassin - best suited for her purpose. She never wanted me to get away from her, so she gave me the toughest training and discipline. She had once told me, that it was her wish to get me married to her son.

By a wish, she only meant that I had to reserve myself for her son and never get attached to any of my targets emotionally. I lied to her that Leon had dumped me because he wasn't interested in our relationship, but oh dear I am a very bad liar. I thought this excuse would make her stay away from him, but I was so wrong.

I was thrown into cold cellar for betraying Queen Bee, the same old torture was back again. Leon was already kidnapped by two of Queen Bee's trusted men and knocked unconscious.

Two days later, Queen Bee entered the cellar and handed me a revolver with a sinister smirk.

"I'll let you go if you kill him. With your own hands."

"Wh-what? No! I can't do this!!"

"Imagine angel, it will be your first kill! Why aren't you so thrilled as much as me?"

"I beg you Queen Bee, pl-please forgive me....please....I promise I'll never look back at him. Just let him go."

I couldn't kill the man I had loved. I held her legs pleading for forgiveness but she ignored all of my cries.

"Lalisa, my little flower. You wouldn't want to be in the same place instead of your lover...so get up and do as I say otherwise you'll find yourself sitting on the same chair after I've pulled the trigger on him. You wouldn't want that, will you?"

A moment of deafening silence persisted in the room. Her reply was clear; she's Queen Bee, a mafia queen. She was insensitive to all my pleas. She was prodding her cheeks with her tongue and impatiently kept tapping her heel on the floor, a common action she did when she was angry or pissed off.

"You betrayed me, angel. Just because I consider you as a daughter, I'm giving you a second chance to live. If you can't do this, choose to sacrifice your life for nothing but this forbidden sin called love."

I was escorted, wrong word - dragged into the basement room. Leon was awake, petrified at what was going on. He was tied up to a chair, surrounded by men with guns on all corners of the room. "Lalisa!" He tried to scream but it only came in form of muffled voice through the cloth that gagged him.

I wanted to run away, but I could only see two of Queen Bee's bodyguards standing in front of door. I was trapped, I couldn't think. I couldn't believe what they were making me do.

I held the gun in my shivering hands, aimed at Leon. I couldn't bring myself to do it, I was trembling in fear. Just then-

"SHOOT HIM!!" Queen Bee shouted.

I jumped in fear and accidentally also pulled the trigger.

The gun went off, piercing through Leon's heart as I stared in horror of what I had just done.

The man I loved the most.....died in my own hands.

Feeling extremely disgusted with myself, I dropped the gun and collapsed on my knees.
