Remus always pretended to get mad at Sirius, though he was never really mad. Sirius always thought Remus was actually mad. Sirius would do anything to get Remus to talk to him again.
Remus was stupidly smart and did this whenever he wanted Sirius' attention. It was his way of getting free chocolate and kisses.
