Chapter 26

3 MONTHS LATER

"Alexis, this is so cute." My mother said as she pulled a pink dress from the rack.

"For the last time mom, the colors are red and white." I said in annoyance.

She sighed and placed the dress back on the rack. My mother, Aunt Elena, Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Bella, Sienna, and I were currently going dress shopping for my wedding which will be next month. I didn't want to waste any time on getting married especially since I knew Armando and Anna were still out there and could attack us at any time and any where. I wanted to make sure that if something bad was to happen to Noah and I that we were bonded together in every signal way possible.

"What about this." Sienna asked as she pulled a red dress of the rack, it had a deep v neck and was silk.

"It's lovely, but I'm not sure you'll feel comfortable in it." I said while eyeing her huge bump.

Sienna was ready to pop at any moment and during these last few months her and Brian had grown extremely close, I believed they had a thing for each other but were too afraid to admit it.

"You're right." Sienna said as she placed it back on the rack.

We looked around the store and I started to grow irritated, there was nothing I liked and we still didn't have any bridesmaid dresses. I sat down on the couch by the waiting room and huffed in annoyance.

"We can always try another store sweetie." My mother said as she rubbed my back.

"What's the point?! This is the fifth store that we have went to and still nothing!" I snapped.

Her face dropped and I instantly felt bad. "I'm sorry mom I just want everything to be-"

"Perfect, yes I know sweetie but you can't rush stuff like this." She said.

I sighed. "What choice do I have? I don't know what can happen and If Noah was to get hurt I-"

"Don't think like that Alexis."

"But I have to mom, after dad...."

She sat on the couch and pulled me into her arms. "Your father would be heartbroken to see you under so much stress. I know you miss him Alexis and I know you want the wedding to be perfect but you're not thinking of your needs. We can just head home and try again tomorrow." She said calmly.

I sighed knowing that she was right, I did need a break from all the shopping we had been doing these last few days.

"And look on the bright side, at least we have your dress ready to go." She smiled. "You're going to make a beautiful bride."

I looked down at my hands " I just wish Armando was here to see it."

My brother Armando has still yet to return home and I was really starting to grow worried about him. I just wanted to see him and tell him everything was going to be okay. I know he was hurting and it couldn't be any better with him being all on his own.

"I know." My mom whispered as she moved my hair to the side. "Let's get going, I'm sure Noah misses you."

I sighed and nodded my head as we got up to leave. I had missed Noah too, with me being so busy planning the wedding I felt as though I had barley been able to see him these last few days.

We arrived home and I headed up to my room where I knew Noah would be. When I entered he was on his laptop and when he saw me he hurried to close it.
