Sabrina, why?
Her braids are all messed up, her face and clothes are covered in dirt. She looks like she had just been crying for a while. Her eyes were still shiny, and her tears stained her face.

"Nature, come out, wake up, dinner time."
"Wake up." The floor cracks open.

"Wake up!"Roots crawl out of the crack.

"WAKE UP!" The roots, that we're moving slow before snap up there would be heads. The roots start to slither like a snake towards her. She backs up into a trees

"Bad move little girl." The voice says.

The tree branches hold her still, the more she struggles the tighter it squeezes her. Her breathing becomes labored, the snakes begin to advance.

I start to shake.
No please, please.
I close my eyes, I can't watch.
I hear a scream, Vinny squeezes my arm.

Now my breathing becomes labored.
Vinny squeezes me again.
Then he shakes me.
Then he does it again.

But it's too late.

The air smells sweet.

I forgot to hold my breath.
