Devon Corp and Peeko Crimes

After Ash's win at the Rustboro gym, our heroes went to Devon Corp in the morning.

During the meet and greet, seeing many new inventions, it was now Ash's turn.

He wouldnt lie, he was nervous, but Pikachu, Eevee, and Togetic were smiling, giving him a thumbs up, as if to say "You got this!"

Ash smiled at the gesture and brings out his Poke-Link Box and Ability Changer.

Ash sees a Kadabra and it's trainer and calls them over.
"If I may, can Kadabra help out with testing my invention?" He asked, to which the trainer and pokemon nodded.

It didnt take while for the Kadabra to evolve into an Alakazam, many of the scientists and spectators are in awe.

"Alakazam?" May asked and scans Alakazam.

[Alakazam, the Psi Pokemon and the evolved form of Kadabra.
A Pokémon that can memorize anything. It never forgets what it learns-that's why this Pokémon is smart.]

Max was in awe and says "It would be cool to have an Alakazam. They're one of the most powerful psychic type pokemon."

The guests were also in awe, a woman approaches Ash, wanting to change her Marill's ability to Sap Sipper.

"Not a problem." Ash answer, using the ability changer, Marill now has Sap Sipper, which was tested by someone's Roselia's Magical Leaf.

"I must say Ash, you have quite a talent for machinery." Mr Stone said  the crowd agreeing and Mr Stone continued with "How would you like to have them mass produced and you getting a lot of royalties?"

The crowd were hoping Ash says yes, even making bids on the devices, Ash thinks for a bit and nods, shaking the president's hand.

"I would love to work with you on this."
The crowd cheered and clapped for Ash, the latter blushing modestly, and a man with light blue hair approaches him, the Devon Corp's son and Hoenn champion, Steven Stone.

"I must say Mr Ketchum, you impress me greatly. Your smarts with pokemon and creations is astonishing." He complimented and Max was excited. Steven Stone was here!

"O-oh my..Thank you." Ash thanked and Steven smiles and gives Ash somethings, a Root Fossil, a Claw Fossil, and a strange white bracelet with a gem inside, along with a box of some other gemstones.

Ash's eyes widened, was he dreaming? A keystone and some mega stones?!

He looked up and Steven smiled, nodding and Ash takes the items, wearing the bracelet.

"What is that? The bracelet is quite stylish!" May exclaimed.
Steven began to explain.

"It's a Mega Bracelet and the stone in it is a key stone. The gems in the box are mega stones."

Ash remembered something and adds "If the right pokemon has the right mega stone and you have a key stone, it can evolve further. The phenomenon is called Mega Evolution. I read about it when Professor Sycamore visited Kanto and has brought books about it to Professor Oak."

Steven nods and replies "You got it. The mega stones are Venusaurite, Charizardite X, Charizardite Y, Blastoisinte, Pidgeotite, Beedrillite, Alakazite, Kangaskhanite, Aerodactylite, Sceptilite, Blazikenite, Swampertite, Gardevoirite  Aggronite, and Metagrossite.

Ash was shocked by the amount of mega stones and looks at Steven, who smiled and said "I have more of those types of mega stones. You can have them."

May and Max seems fascinated by Mega Evolution and May goes over and asks "Excuse me Mr Steven, but do you have more Blazikenite and another keystone? I'd love to Mega evolve my Torchic once it becomes a Blaziken."

Max butts in and says "I want a Sceptilite please!" To which Steven chuckled and says "I think I do have more mega stones for Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert, but in order to Mega Evolve, you need a key stone too. I dont plan to give away my first and now only key stone anytime soon. Sorry."

The two seemed down, but Ash goes to them and says "Cheer up guys. Maybe we can find keystones."

The two siblings immediately cheered up, thanking Ash for the idea.
Mr Stone approaches Ash and asks "Would you like to revive those fossils now?"

Ash nods at that and follows him to the fossil restoration machine and puts in the fossils.

It wasnt long when an Anorith popped out from the Claw Fossil and a Lileep sprouts from the root fossil.
Ash scans his new pokemon.

[Anorith, the Old Shrimp Pokemon.
Anorith was regenerated from a prehistoric fossil. This primitive Pokémon once lived in warm seas. It grips its prey firmly between its two large claws.
This Anorith is level 20 with the ability Battle Armor, Male, and knows the moves Fury Cutter, Ancient Power, Smack Down, Bug Bite, Metal Claw, Harden, Aqua Jet*Egg Move*, Cross Poison*Egg Move* Iron Defense*Egg Move*, and Water Pulse*Egg Move*]

[Lileep, the Sea Lily Pokemon.
Lileep is an ancient Pokémon that was regenerated from a fossil. It remains permanently anchored to a rock. From its immobile perch, this Pokémon intently scans for prey with its two eyes.
This Lileep is level 20 with the ability Storm Drain, Female, and knows the moves Mega Drain, Ancient Power, Astonish, Acid, Wring Out*Egg Move*, Recover*Egg Move*, and Mirror Coat*Egg Move*]

An old man runs in, begging for help, that his Wingull named Peeko was stolen.

Ash volunteers to help, as does May, Max, and Brock. They head off to the edge of town, going to Whismur Cave, where men and women in blue and white were there and a caged Wingull was there.

One of the men laughed and said "That man will have to let us get that boat now!" Peeko starts crying in fear, but a Crawdaunt glares at the bird pokemon.

Ash was livid and orders Eevee and Togetic to free Peeko and for Pikachu to make sure the people dont intervene.

The three do just that, Eevee breaking the cage with Iron Tail, Togetic soothing Peeko, and Pikachu attacking the gangsters with Iron Tails and Thunders.

They flee and Peeko goes to the old man. He turns to the gang. "Thank you for helping my Peeko. You four can always hitch a ride on my to go to Slateport City or Dewford Town, boat whenever you want."

The gang was happy and decided to go to Slateport first for May's contest, as it was coming soon and our heroes will have many more adventures.

As the journey continues.
