The key in my hand was cold against my skin. While I walked down the path to building M5 of the Star Fleet Academy I couln't stop smiling like an absolute idiot.

But who wouldn't smile knowing that he was only 5 minutes away from his best friend, whom he hadn't seen for 1 1/2 years?

Jim called almost daily, but that was just not the same. I was so happy when he told me that he made the time for me to visit him.

I stepped in the elevator and put the key against the pad. The elevator almost instantly started moving upwarts.

My grin got bigger with every floor I passed.

The Elevator eventually came to a stop and I entered Jims' room.

The first thing I saw made me role my eyes. A young woman was sitting at the kitchen counter, drinking Coffee.

I cleared my throat extra loudly. The girl immediatly turned around on her stool.

After a few seconds she started to stare at me angrily

"Excuse me, but what to you think you're doing here?!"

Her high pitched voice almost made me shiver.

"Oh please, don't mind me. I'm just his cleaning lady."

I put my things down, went into the bathroom and got some cleaning products.

With them in my hand, I walked back to the kitchen counter and started spraying the product on the counter.

"You see, I'm here to clean the flat of everything and anything dirty"

While saying that, I sprayed the liquid right at her.

Enraged, she got up and left, screaming something about how unbelievable this treatment was and that her father was going to hear about that.

I burst out laughing the moment the elevator doors closed.

"Sarah?"

I turned around to see my best friend, sleep drunk in the doorframe.

He rubbed his eyes and looked at me confused

I just smiled an angelic smile and replied

"I just.. took out the trash"

He spread his arms and I went over to hugh my best friend tightly.

After we let to go of each other, I looked at Jim

"You look like crap"

"Yeah well, you look as beautiful as ever"

"Coffee?"

"Yes. Yes please. I'm just gonna brush my teeth. Be right back."

"I don't think brushing your teeth is gonna be enough. I think you need like a whole redo of like .. everything" I teased him from the kitchen, where I had just switched on the Coffeemachine

We were sitting on his couch, drinking hot coffee, when I just couldn't help but ask the one question I had in my head since my arrival.

"Jim?"

"Yeah?"

"How did you keep her quiet"

He just looked at me in confusion

"Her voice is a serious cock-block. And don't try to tell me otherwise. I had enough after just one sentence"

Kirk just burst out into laughter

"You've been meaning to ask that since she left, am I right?"

"Jeah but seriously, how did you do it?"

"I have my ways" Jim grinned mysteriously

I looked at Kirk's friend flabbergasted.

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Oh uh, Bones, meet Sarah. Sarah, this is Bones."

The doctor shook my hand

"Nice to finally meet you, Sarah. I've heard a lot about you"

I just looked at Leonard with narrowed eyes

"And yet, that is my line"

Jim started to laugh

I just flipped my hair over my shoulder and strutted away dramatically.

"Well, I sure like her", I heard Bones say, just before I was out of ear-shot.
