"TEMARI!"

(Y/n) quickly slowed his pace as he watched the trio stop before the new face.

They were just leaving, what was this about?

"Who's this?" (Y/n) asked as he walked to the front of the group, moving Sakura out of the way a bit before mumbling a quick apology to her.

"Gaara has been taken captive by the Akatsuki and Kankuro has been poisoned" Naruto said sternly as both (Y/n)'s and Temari's eyes widened.

"THE AKATSUKI?!"

"Gaara's been what?!"

"Wait wait wait- so we're going to go HEAD ON with the Akatsuki?" (Y/n) shook his hands, "And who's the pretty blonde?" He gestured to the girl with the large fan on her back.

"I'm Gaara's sister. . ." She growled threateningly. "Let's get a move on!"

(Y/n) was now divided with the mission, he'd have to go against the AKATSUKI that had a BOUNTY for thousands, maybe millions of yen- dollars- whatever currency and save the KAZE-ME-HAGE of the Sand.

All while his 'teammates' didn't know about the bounty or his interactions with the Akatsuki leader.

Ahh. . . he was now starting to regret insulting the all mighty leader of the infamous criminal group-

The trip to the sand has been a bit rocky, (Y/n) had been keeping watch most nights due to his insomnia so the others could rest, though while they ran through a sand storm at some point he realized how much he preffered the snow over the grainy rocks.

When the village came in sight, Temari was quickly escorted into the building while running along with the rest.

"(Y/n)! Come on! What are you waiting for?!" Sakura called out to him,

"Go on without me, I want to make sure of something!" (Y/n) replied as the team ran into the village to deal wtih all the chaos.

But as soon as he turned around to head towards the crime scene, he was halted by a group or shinobi. "You cannot pass! The Akatsuki are much too strong-"

"Step down" (Y/n) said coldly, the shinobi flinching back in response.

"We can't let you pass, Master Kankuro was poisoned and is in dangerous conditions. Until further notice, we cannot go against them without an antidote" One of them spoke up, "We'll need to apprehend you if you try to go against our word" The woman spoke up as he pointed her staff at him threateningly.

(Y/n) grabbed the blade side of the staff as it pierced his hand, he tightened his grip as the blade shattered into half.

"I don't listen to the weak, I'll be back soon, I just have something I must confirm. Tell as many people as necessary for a hit-squad against me, I don't have buisness with you all"

He shook his hand, shaking some of the blood off of it and onto the sandy ground. The other half of the blade that wasn't broken was dull now, so the shinobi had no way to defend herself with that weapon anymore. "H-how?" She stuttered out in a mixture of amazement and fear, "Y-you don't seem older than 20! how are you so strong?!" She stumbled back a bit as her partner ran to her side.

"Hm, don't care about answering"

(Y/n) rubbed his bloodied hand against his pants to clean off the remains of the blood. He kicked a bit of sand at her as he walked past, bumping her partner in the shoulder and shoving him off balance, causing him to fall backwards and land against the sand.
