mattia pov:
-i was playing soccer, the score was 1-1 with 10 mins left
-i really wanted to win this one
-my parents weren't at the game since they were visiting family
-usually y/n would be here to watch but she had a lacrosse game (or any activity u do loll)
-the guy in front of me of the opposite team was dribbling ahead and i wanted to take the ball from him
-i ran in front of him stuck my foot out and pulled the ball in, i started dribbling closer and closer to the goal (ik he plays defense, but let's j pretend..)
-right in front of me was a player and i saw him stick his foot out to take the ball, i tried to jump over his foot, but he jumped on me and pushed me with his shoulder
-my head and body smashed against the ground as i groaned loudly
-my head started spinning in circles and i was feeling very dizzy
- i heard a whistle blow and the words "red card!" being shouted
-from the corner of my eye i saw my teammates rushing over to me as well as the nurse
-the nurse told me to follow her finger as she moved her hand in front of my eyes from left to right
-
-i tried to keep up but couldn't
-she whispered something into my coach's ear and he took out his phone
-within seconds i heard sirens, everything around me started spinning and warping
-my head felt like it was bulging as i heard "don't worry, you'll be okay, we're just gonna-"
-as i heard these words the whole world went black.
a couple hours later
-i woke up in an unfamiliar place
-i heard a heart machine thumping slowly
-i had on this robe and was lying down on this white bed
- i looked around the room and instantly realized i was at the hospital
-"what happened" i said to myself
-as i said this ale and kairi walked through the door and said "he's awake!" "well finally"
-"wait what happened" i ask
-"some guy pushed u during the soccer game and you got a concussion"
-"yeah and we got to ride in the ambulance it was so cool" ale said
-"and they put u in this cool machine that scanned you brain or something" he continued
-"yeah omg and they gave us this green jello and then-" kai said
"oh my god shut up already" i said
"jeez why u pressed" kai and ale laughed
"wait so i have a concussion?" i ask
"yeah, it's not too bad, u don't have any brain damage or whatever" kai said "even though that would've been cooler" he mumbled to ale
"i heard that u ratfuck" i said
"and when can i leave"
-as soon as i said that a doctor came in to the room
-"hey mattia polibio right?" "glad to see you're awake, so let's talk about a few things before we can discharge you. i'm sure your friends already told u, you have a concussion, nothing too severe but i don't want u having any screen time for 1-2 weeks. That involves phones,tvs,video games etc.." try to eat gentle foods and ice it as much as u can" " ur not going to go to school until next week, so stay at home , rest and relax, I wanna see you in a week for a check up. Another thing... you are gonna feel very dizzy and might faint a couple times in the next couple hours, don't worry abt it, it's completely normal. And that's basically it, I'll be in contact with your parents to let them know abt anything" you got it"? the doctor said
that was a lot of info but i just nodded my head and he handed me the discharge papers i had to sign
-the doctor left
-" where's y/n"
-"her lacosse game is like 2 hours away and we just told her about you 15 mins ago mattia" kai said
"well can u tell her to come over?" i asked
"i'm not sure if she can but she's coming to the hospital in like an hour". ale said
"no get me outta here, i wanna go home" i said
"alright, alright"
-we left and got out of the car, my head was killing me and i couldn't sit up, i had to lay down so i wouldn't fall over
