They both cross their paths in their teenage and fall for each other, at that age Pranati was dumped by Reyansh which breaks her heart mostly when she is pregnant with his child.
After giving birth to a girl child, Pranati finds that her child was born dead. But the fatal truth is pranati mother gave the new born child to orphange.
Later after 8 years, these three people come across each other. When Jugnu (Pranati and Reyansh daughter) comes to Pranati for rescue, she realise that Jugnu is her daughter and she informs the same to Reyansh who is least interested in knowing about his child.

Pranati goes to court to for legal right in child as both Pranati and Reyansh were not married. Till the last judgement day Reyansh keeps quit but at end he turns the table stating he also wants Jugnu solo custody shocking Pranati.
When Pranati questions about his change in decision, he says he can't explain the reason but he was also forced by his dadi. Later court gives the joint custody of Jugnu to both which makes Pranati to cancel her engagement with Archit(her best friend and he loves her) so that there would be no complications in future till she gets Jugnu custody.
Pranati and Jugnu stay in Reyansh home as per joint custody, in Meanwhile they have some flashbacks hitting them but still their priorities of Jugnu custody makes them ignore those. One day Reyansh younger brother Armaan need to make Riya accept to marry him as per Dadi's order, but before that Riya understand how bad Armaan is and ignore him. So to make Riya accept Armaan, Reyansh seeks Pranati help lying her that Armaan loves Riya whereas Armaan has affair with other girl. Unknown the fact that he has affair with other girl Pranati helps Armaan and Reyansh.
Atlast after so much of efforts Riya accepts to marry Armaan and on the wedding day Jugnu gets upset as Mallika(ex girlfriend and obbessesive girlfriend of Reyansh) calls an illegitimate which upset Jugnu so she leaves from there and some people Kidnap her.
Knowing this Reyansh and Pranati searches for her, at last when the kidnapper demands a crore instead of Jugnu, dadi takes this as chance and ask Pranati to sign the solo custody of Jugnu to Reyansh and leave the house. Pranati agrees and signs, she goes and saves Jugnu who already got released from kidnappers clutch before Reyansh and Pranati arrived.
