John's POV
I'm late!
I quickly get dressed and rush out of my house. I have a date today.
He probably things I stood him up!
I sprint down the street, trying to get to the coffee shop as soon as possible. But then I decide to stop at a flower shop to pick up some tulips. Then it's back to running.
When I finally run inside the coffee shop I am immediately greeted by a very annoyed Charles Lee.
"You're late." He glares at me. I hand him the bouquet, "You're handsome." I grin back, celebrating in my head when his gaze softens and he blushes.
"You're lucky you're cute, Laurens," I laugh at that and can't help but blush, "It won't happen again, promise!"
I sit across from him and we order our drinks. An awkward silence falls over us like a thick fog. "So.." I say, trying to start a conversation.
Charles and I have never been close, we were sworn enemies. But then we fell for each other and he asked me out. Now we're here, at a coffee shop near my house.
"Your eyes are pretty," he says, but then he blushes hard, "D-Did I say that out loud?"
I laugh and blush, kissing his cheek, making him get redder.
He's so cute.
We get our coffee and I start ranting about turtles, that turns into a conversation about Pokemon, which turns into a conversation about Total Drama.
When we finish our coffee we go to the park, pet a lot of dogs, and just talk.
Lee's favorite color is, unsurprisingly, black. His favorite food is this thing called 'Gyro' that, apparently, Jefferson makes a lot. He loves dogs more than anything and he gets up early every morning to watch the sun rise.
He's amazing!!
Eventually we decide to go to my house and, after a lot of arguing, we decide to put on Megamind. I can't help but blush when he cuddles up to my chest.
And then his breathing slows as he falls asleep. I smile and cuddle him, eventually falling asleep as well.
Best date ever!
