Jax: *driving on Interstate 64 eastbound* How far to Suffolk?
Me: *sitting in the front with Jax* Not too far. My cousin Pam lives near the downtown area.
Jax: Okay! *driving and uses his blinker to merge into a different lane*
Melissahoel1: Thanks for letting me come to Virginia with you guys! *sitting in the back*
Me: Don't mention it, hun!
Jax: Pleasure was all mine! *driving*
Me: *sees the sign for Battlefield Blvd 168*
Melissahoel1: *sees the sign for Elizabeth City Outer Banks US 17
Jax: *sees the sign for Norfolk Interstate 464*
Me: *listening to Rain On Me by Ashanti on my CD player*
Jax: *driving on the high rise bridge above the Elizabeth River*
Melissahoel1: *whistles*
Me: *sees the sign for Portsmouth Deep Creek Business 17*
Jax: *driving and sees the sign for Military Hwy Bowers Hill Suffolk Newport News Richmond*
Me: *listening to Forevermore by R Kelly*
Jax: *takes the exit to Suffolk*
Melissahoel1: *falls asleep and snores*
Me: *sees the sign for Dock Landing Rd*
Jax: *driving on US 58 west towards Emporia Petersburg, passing by Hampton Roads Airport*
Melissahoel1: *still sleeping and snoring*
Jax: *driving past the weigh station*
Me: The exit to Downtown Suffolk is coming up!
Jax: Yep! *takes the exit to Downtown Suffolk*
Me: *sees the Raceway Mini Mart*
Jax: *stops to get gas*
Me: *gets out to stretch my legs and sees a man pull up in a blue Cadillac Deville with a Virginia license plate and steps out*
Melissahoel1: *sleeping and snoring still*
Jax: *filling up his car with gas at the pump*
Me: *goes into the mini mart and gets some Chester's Flaming Hot Fries, and a red Mountain Dew*
Melissahoel1: *enters the mini mart and gets some chocolate milk*
Me: You awake?
Melissahoel1: Yes, hun! Are we in Suffolk, yet?
Me: Yes, we are! *goes to the cashier to pay for my things*
Melissahoel1: Yay!!! *gets behind me to pay*
Time skip.....
At Cousin Pam's house in Suffolk VA....
Pam: How ya been, cousin? *sitting on the sofa*
Me: *sitting on the sofa* Good!
Pam: How's the family?
Me: Good. You visiting NC, anytime soon?
Pam: For Thanksgiving. Seeing Cousin Trish.
Me: Nice! Will you stop by my grandmother's house?
Pam: Yep! Will you be there?
Me: Yes!
Pam: Jones and his family gonna be there?
Me: Most likely. Jay has to work, though.
Pam: I see. They live in Dumfries, right?
Me: Yes, near DC.
Pam: Okay.
Melissahoel1: You have a beautiful home! *sitting on the sofa*
Pam: Thank you! Where you from?
Melissahoel1: Originally from Wales, but I live in Norway, now.
Pam: Great!
