Part 1
After a while, we finally saw the ocean outside our window. We all looked out, not saying a word. The sky was clear, blue as ever with white, fluffy clouds.
The car was still driving fast, so the scenery was still a blur. My heart fluttered with excitement, eyes fixed on the ocean where the water met the sky on the horizon.
No matter how long I stared at the ocean, I couldn't get used to its force of life and vitality. The ocean was so big, that it finally helped me grasp how insignificant we were.
And the speed we were moving at in the car right now was probably only a small push in the grand scheme of things.
Suddenly I thought:
Why had we all decided to travel to the ocean?
