𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐟- 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭

𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐍 𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡, to say the least, and to put it simply, Estelle was losing her shit. She was beyond worried about everyone, and the first task was tomorrow. She just didn't fancy anyone she cared for becoming barbequed. To try and calm her nerves that night Estelle left the carriage to sit at the spot Cedric had shown her. Not surprisingly, he was there as well.

"Hello Cedric," Estelle says softly, sitting next to the boy.

"Hey Stell, what are you doing up?" he asks her, turning to look her way.

"Couldn't sleep. I'm assuming you had the same issue?"

"Yeah."

"Do you come out here often, when you can't sleep I mean?" Estelle asks.

"Um no actually, this is the first time," Cedric explains, "I'm usually a pretty good sleeper."

"Oh, well then, fancy seeing you here Cedric Diggory," Estelle teases, her eyes gleaming.

"Funny Stell, this is my spot you know?"

"Our spot now."

"I would like that actually, for this to be our spot."

"I would like that too Cedric."

The two then just sit there in silence for a bit, each one enjoying the company of the other.

"I like it out here, it's so calm," Estelle says out of the blue.

"Yeah, but that could also be because it's about one in the morning," Cedric chuckles, thinking that the blonde was referring to the lack of other people out.

"That's not even really what I meant, I mean I feel calmer."

"Oh?" he questions, not sure what she means.

"It's silly, but I feel as though I've always lived in Fleur's shadow at school. She's prettier, more charming, silly stuff that shouldn't really matter, but it does. And now she's a champion. I'm happy for her, of course. It's just, out here, with you, I feel calm? Like the weight of being her sister isn't on me," Estelle explains the best she can.

"Estelle, never think that you're less than, you're your own person. Fleur's stuff doesn't bring down your worth. And for the record, I think you're stunningly beautiful," Cedric replies.

"You do?"

"Of course I do, most of the guys and half of the girls at this school are practically head over heels for you."

Estelle just giggles and lays her head down onto his chest, staring at the reflection of the moonlight on the water. Then Cedric stands up, holding a hand out to the smaller girl.

"What?" Estelle questions, not quite sure whats going on.

"Give me your hand," Cedric prompts.

Estelle does so, placing her soft hand is his calloused one, and he pulls her to her feet, wrapping his free hand around her waist.

"You know how to dance I assume?" he asks her.

"Yes?" Estelle replies, but it comes out as a question.

"Well then," he says, starting to sway slightly.

Estelle giggles but joins in, hesitantly at first. She moves her hand from his and wraps her arms around his neck, allowing him to put the now free hand on her waist as well. The first few steps are clumsy as they get used to being in each other's arms, but as time goes on, the dance becomes smoother. Estelle is giggling every so often, which in turn makes Cedric chuckle. He twirls her around, making her hair fly around her head like a halo. Cedric smiles at this, as she really does remind him of an angel.  At that moment, Estelle wanted to kiss him, she wanted to kiss him with all of her being, but she didn't. She didn't want to ruin the moment, didn't want to scare him off. So instead, she rested her head on his chest as she had in the past, and danced. 

"Cedric," Estelle whispers, looking up at the tall brunette.

"Hmm?" he hums in response.

"It's getting late," she tells him, "and the Hogwarts Champion needs his beauty sleep before he fights a dragon,"

Cedric chuckles, "I suppose you're right."

He walks her back to the Beauxbaton's carriage, on arm around her waist the whole way.

Estelle untangles herself from his arms before looking up at him, "Goodnight Cedric Diggory."

"Goodnight angel."

AN~ This chapter is really short OOPS! Its honestly just a filler chapter so that I can like meet my own goal, but I thought it was cute.
