She entered the large room looking around for a short minute before her eyes landed on her owl, Kiwi. She was small, tiny even, but that was why Estelle had picked her. Kiwi was more of a companion than a mail carrier, something that Estelle was grateful for, considering the fact that she hated writing letters in the first place.

"Hi Kiwi," Estelle whispered as she picked her up.

Kiwi just let out a hoot, but Estelle liked to think she was saying hello back. Looking around the round room, Estelle notices a little area where she could sit. She made her way to the small space, settling into the ground, which was surprisingly warm.

She brought her knees to her chest, wrapping one arm around them, the other still holding Kiwi. Estelle laid her head on the wood that was next to her, silent tears running down her cheeks. Kiwi then hopped up onto her shoulder, making the teen laugh softly.

As she sat there, she started to hear noise coming from the outside of the tower, presumably someone coming up the stairs. If Estelle hadn't just been crying, she would usually leave right then, but she was, so she didn't. Instead, she stayed in her little corner, praying that the person wouldn't notice her. This, of course, didn't happen, and as soon as the person walked in, they walked towards Estelle.

"Are you alright?" the girl asked, her long black hair cascading down her shoulders.

In Estelle's opinion, she was quite beautiful. Her large brown eyes were full of concern, and Estelle couldn't help but to automatically take a liking to the girl, who looked to be about her age, maybe slightly younger.

"I'm okay," Estelle sniffled, a bit embarrassed.

"No you're not, scooch over," the girl said, making Estelle look at her quizzically, but she did as she was told.

The dark-haired girl sat down next to her, and Kiwi jumped to her, making the girl smile. She picked her up in her hands, smiling down at the bird.

"And who's this?" she asked, petting Kiwi softly.

"Kiwi, my owl," Estelle said.

"Why hello Kiwi," the girl said, "I'm Cho."

'Cho? As in Cho Chang?' Estelle thought to herself. What the hell? This was the girl that Cedric had chosen over her, and if she were to be honest, Estelle could see why.  She was beautiful, and obviously very kind.
