Cassandra

I had been home for exactly one week before my mum urged we have dinner with the Malfoy's.

"You and Draco could talk," she stated, as if this somehow would bring me joy.
"Mum, you know Draco and I aren't friends anymore."
"But whatever happened?" my dad asked like they have a hundred times before. I never actually told them why we stopped being friends. Mostly because I didn't know myself, but also because I was embarrassed.
"We stopped being best friends about five years ago, when will you two drop it?" I sighed in desperation.
"We will have dinner with the Malfoy's next Friday, that's final," mum demanded before they smoothly exited my room.

I laid on my bed whilst I stared at the sparkly chandelier on the ceiling. My parents had been friends with Narcissa and Lucious since their own Hogwarts days, due to them all being Slytherins.
My parents weren't death eaters like his parents were though.

I dreaded Friday, cursing at the unlikely luck of getting out of it. I woke up that day more tired than usual.
I got ready for the day, doing my daily routine.
"Don't forget about the dinner today," my dad reminded me.
"Wear something nice," my mum winked.
"You two are insufferable," I said, rolling my eyes as they laughed.

A few hours passed and I knew I had to make myself presentable for the dreaded dinner.

I pulled over a black, lacy dress over my head once I was out of the shower. I zipped it up and smiled at my reflection. I curled the ends of my usually straight hair and applied some makeup, which I rarely did. I noticed the small golden box with Cedrics necklace inside it. I couldn't help but smile and blush as I put it on. The memories made me happy. 'It's just a necklace' I told myself before deciding to keep it on.

I sprayed the perfume mum and dad had gotten me for Christmas and made my way downstairs to find a platinum-blonde haired family standing at my door way.

"Cassandra! You look lovely" Narcissa greeted me with a bright smile.
"You as well, Cissy," I grinned.

Both families waited patiently until Draco and I acknowledged each other. I sighed and gave him a subtle nod which he returned. Our parents didn't seem pleased but they went toward the living room, indicating they wouldn't push the subject.
Draco and I silently followed behind them until Lucius spoke up, "Why don't you two go play whilst the adults talk," he smirked evilly.
"Go on," my dad signaled. I sighed and made my way upstairs with a whining Draco behind me.
"You're lucky I don't tell Lou and Henry that you've kissed a mudblood," Draco threatened from behind me.
"Do it, see if I care." I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

I closed the door behind us as we entered my room.
"Looks the same," he stated blankly. I watched as his eyes traveled to my black-satin sheets with the silver embroidered accents.
"Those are new," he added. I was surprised he had noticed but I shrugged it off.
"Well? Aren't we going to play?" he teased with a smirk.
"Piss off, Malfoy," I barked, walking to my balcony. I lent on the railing and let the soft, summer breeze slightly mess up my hair. Draco had joined me and I couldn't help but take a look at what he was wearing. The classic black suit went oddly well with his pale face and hair.
"Take a picture, it might last longer," he sneered, making me peel my eyes off of his body and back to the view.
"Have you run out of insults?" he questioned, regarding my sudden silence. He followed me again once I re-entered my room.

I watched with a rosen brow as he made his way closer to me. He rose my chin with his wand and stared into my eyes. I didn't know what he was doing but I had not motivation to object. After a few seconds his hand flew to my neck, ripping Cedrics necklace right off.
I stared at him wide eyed.

"Perhaps you need a little push to help you get over Diggory," he whispered. He leaned in a little more, making our faces inches away.
A million thoughts flew to my head and I couldn't focus. What the hell was he doing?
"Do you want to play?" he slurred seductively. My eyes darted to the now broken necklace that lay on the dark marbled floor.

Maybe It was my lack of sleep from the past night or my truly adapt negligence toward Draco's mind games, but I wasn't even angry. Maybe I really do need a push to fully get rid of Cedric.
I shifted my head, to face Draco once again. I roughly loosened his tie as payback.
"Hey now," he reacted, placing both hands above me, pining me to the wall. I smirked as his nervous eyes scanned my face. I brought my hands to his tie once again, completely undoing it.
He quickly snatched his tie from my hands and rapidly tied it around my neck. He tightened it uncomfortably tight making me bring my hand to my neck, in attempt to loosen it.
He swiftly pinned my arms above my head whilst he continued to tighten the tie, tighter and tighter.

"You sure you want to play?" he sneered. I grinned as I kneeled him right in between his legs. he brought his hand to his crotch as he moaned in pain. I switched places and pushed his face against the wall.
"Are you?"
