Witchcraft is very hard to explain. It's a practice, but some definitions of it label it as a religion . But you don't have to be religious to be a witch. There are tons of agnostic witches out there.
Witches manipulate the energy around them to manifest the result they want.
Witches aren't inherently evil. Actually, there are very few evil witches .
Most of them are naturalists who want to protect the environment.
Lots of people say you have to be a wiccan or a pagan to be a witch, but that is simply not true. I know a bunch of Christian witches as well.
There is also this thing called the rule of three, but a lot of witches (including myself) don't believe in it.
When asking a witch what magick is, the most common definition given is Aleister Crowley's. "Magic is the art and science of creating change in accordance to will." Many define magic as a name for stuff science doesn't understand yet. Key word, yet.
