Subtle witchcraft

I'm making this chapter for all those witches who are in the broom closet. Depending on your situation some of these might be harder to do than others, but these are very easy to hide and hopefully get you through for now

Sigils and petitions will be your best friend. Sigils are really easy to hide and they're like a less powerful version of a petition. Petitions help a lot and make your spells more specific and powerful. Here is a good video of petitions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpd0N-ubfwg and Paper in My Shoe by Catherine Yronwode is a really good book to read on petitions. i suggest making your own sigils, instead of finding them on the internet. The sigils will probably be more powerful if you use one you made. Some good places to put sigils is in your phone case, in your shoes, on the back of a watch, on a water bottle, on gum wrappers, in your wallet, on your skin (you can use foundation for this instead of markers), in your notebooks, in a nail polish design, stir sigils into your coffee/tea, etc.

Stones and rocks: These aren't a perfect replacement for crystals, but they work. You just charge them with your intention. They aren't as good as crystals, since crystals have a natural vibration but stones will work in a snap

Meditation: while this isn't witchcraft itself, it's very important to witches and witchcraft. This helps you open a channel through which spirits can communicate with you through and it helps you develop physic awareness. This also helps you calm down and raise your vibration.

Makeup magick: this is usually used for glamours (i love glamours) but this is helpful for other things as well. Here is a quick list of things you can do with makeup magick

lipstick: use color correspondences. make my words magickal, lips desirable, and soft as can be

eye shadow/eyeliner: use color correspondences. Enhance my sight, bring me information from my plane and others.

mascara/fake eyelashes: give my sight a radar, expand my horizons

cleanser: wash away the negativity

toner: act as an active agent to scour away any evil or mischief

moisturizer: renew me, charge me with life and beauty

primer: coat me in a sheet of enchantment, make me magickal

eye shadow primer: help me see, and allow all that is psychic and prophetic stick to my eyes

concealer: cloak me and my mistakes, help me hide my blemishes

foundation: help me build a beautiful day and create a masterpiece. Be the beginning of a glamour spell

contour: Sculpt my face, make me a statue of grace

highlight: bring out my features and my attributes and traits

blush: bring light into me, revitalize every cell of my being

powder: veil me in secret, keep my thoughts well hidden

eyebrows: still my expressions, make me hard to read

Learn to read playing cards: people will just think you're playing some kind of solitaire.

For all my artists out there, you can use your favorite paintbrush/pencil/whatever art supply as a  wand. Use a lot of symbolism in your art. Hide sigils, use color correspondences, use moon water with your water colors. The possibilities are endless. You can give your friend a drawing that will protect them, one that cleanses them of negative energy, etc.

Use showers to cleanse yourself of negativity. Some cultures believe that negative energy gets trapped in your hair and that washing your hair will wash the negativity out. 

Talk to your plants. Give them names, take care of them. ask them questions, find out if something is bothering them. This can help you get better at sensing energy and help you communicate with plants better. 

Do research on kitchen witchery. Kitchen witchcraft is one of the easiest forms of witchcraft to hide and there is so much out there to learn about
