In the bible, Judas was the 13th one to sit at the table. In Norse mythology Loki showed up uninvited to a feast, making him the 13th guest. That lead to Loki being imprisoned. Friday the 13th was the fall of the Templar's (Ironically, the 13th day of a month falls on a Friday more often than it falls on any other day.). On the ship Queen Mary, a man was crush between the doors in section 13.
Incidents like these are why people are afraid of the number 13. However 13 is not an evil number (it's actually my lucky number.). It's like the Tower card of numerology. It's a warning that something will happen, Sometimes that something is good, however more people hear of the bad than good. The number 13 means you need to build a strong foundation or else something bad might happen (even more like the tower). This number is also associated with creativity and powerful material outcomes
The number 13 is a lot like the number 4, which is considered the most whole number because of the 4 seasons and the four elements etc, (1+3=4) but it also has elements of 1 and 3 in it. The number 1 is symbolic of the individual while the number 3 means unbridled creativity
In the major arcana of tarot the 13th card is Death, or The Reaper. This card can mean death, but usually it means rebirth, change and transformation
The United States started out with 13 states, the forefathers didn't think this names was ominous. This is because the masons (our founders were masons) believed that the number 13 was good fortune.
In the modern day there are 2 interpretations that people see the number 13 as, extremely lucky or extremely unlucky.
We must consider that the unlucky 13 does not appear randomly (maybe it's a warning something will happen)
When you see the number 13, don't see it as bad luck. Instead see it as an indicator of the duality of the situation
