Knot Magick

i decided to give you guys a chapter on one of the easiest forms of magick. it's also probably the easiest to hide, for those who are still in the broom closet

Knot Magick is probably the easiest form of magick. It can be as simple as tying your shoe or it can be as complex as making complex and beautiful knot works. Lots of witches who knit and crochet use knot magick all the time (i knit and crochet but i haven't tried incorporating knot magick into it yet even though i have don't knot magick before)

You can use any material that is able to be tied in a knot. Lots of people use color correspondences, but you don't have to if you don't feel the need to.

The most common knot magick spell is called the Witches Latter. The witches latter is used a lot in manifestation

The basic premise of knot magick is that you are binding your intention. Think of it an an anchor point for the idea you want to manifest

You can do almost any kind of spell with knot magick. I'm not kidding, you can do curses, healing spells, protective spells, etc. 

Knots are heavily associated with air elemental magick and weather spell casting.

For simple and quick spells you can do and over hand knot and for more complex spells you can do more complex knotting (that's what i've found works best)

One bad thing is that if your knot gets broken it can break your spell. But depending on the spell that might be a good thing. Like if you decided you don't want to do that spell any more

Lots of witches make like friendship bracelet type things for their friends and/or lovers so that they are binded together

As you tie each not, try to imbue each knot with your intention, so the more knots the stronger your intention. You can also use numerology to dictate how many knots you use or how long your string is if you'd like

Lots of people say you need to burn your knots or untie them to release the energy so that you can manifest what you want. It depends on the kind of spell you're doing, but usually that's not needed.
