~Its Not the Same Anymore- Rex Orange County~

A few weeks later, Dracos days were filled with classes and Pansy Parkinson hanging all over him. He had been visiting Hermione writing to her and crying. It was time for him to explore the cabinet; if he could find it. He walked through the dead corridors and into the room of requirement. He held an apple in his hand throwing it up and catching it.

Borgin had been sending him letters telling him how it worked but did not want to test it yet. He stood in the room and heard a creak. He looked to his left and saw an old blanket over something. The cabinet. He walked over to it and pulled it off. He stared at it. "This is it.." He said to himself. He opened the black cabinet and examined it inside. It looked like a normal cabinet, just the size for a human to stand in.

After a few minutes of looking at it, he checked a random clock. He had a meeting with Dumbledore in a few minutes. He left the room and headed towards the office.

He walked up to the door and knocked on it. The door opened and was faced with the headmaster. The man he had to kill. "Draco, come sit," Dumbeldore said, smiling.

"Good evening, Professor.." Draco sat down.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm.." Draco thought. He wasn't good, he wasn't okay, he didn't know. "I'm.."

"You don't know, do you?" Dumbledore said, grabbing for his small bowl that sat on his desk.

Draco shook his head. "I'm afraid not, sir.."

The headmaster nodded. "Sorbet lemons?"

"Sure." Draco grabbed a few and Dumbledore put the bowl back down, grabbing a few for himself.

"I've seen you come and go from the hospital wing every day." Dumbledore started. Malfoy felt uneasy as he adjusted himself.

"Oh-" He laughed awkwardly. "I uh... I go and see Hermione every day... writing her little updates.." he popped a candy in his mouth.

"How are you and Harry?" He asked. "I haven't seen you two interacting much."

"I'm..distancing myself. I need to keep him safe.. away from my family, including me." He teared up. "I don't want to.. but anything to keep him safe.."

"I understand.." Dumbledore smiled sadly. "You ordered this meeting. Let's get to that."

"Right." Draco wiped his eyes and adjusted himself again. "Um, I know muggle items aren't really allowed in Hogwarts, but I've taken a liking to them. The guitar actually. I've learned how to play and I would like to bring it to school. It relaxes me as well."

"Hm." Dumbledore popped the small candy into his mouth. "I think we would be able to allow it.  Keep it in your dormitory, yes?"

"Yes. As long as I can have it with me I don't mind." Draco smiled. "And maybe possibly bring it to the hospital wing?"

"Of course." He chuckled. "I will send a letter to your mother. Now.. Gryffindor Quidditch tryouts are starting soon. If you would like to go, that is."

"Oh." Draco had stopped playing after his third year. "Yeah, I think I'll go. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me, Professor."

"Of course, Draco. Now off you go." He smiled. Draco smiled as well and left the office.

He made his way down to the quidditch pitch, taking in the crisp air. It was foggy and cloudy, but he enjoyed it. He walked up one of the stands and sat down next to Luna. Luna smiled looking at him. "Hi, Draco."
