TRIVIA:

Kisses also love Storm the way Travis loves Sabrina. Usually kasi sa mga nababasa ko, kontrabida are built because the leading characters can't love them back.

I just want to show that you can still love and be good at the same time even if that love isn't reciprocated. Hindi mo kailangang maging kontrabida sa buhay ng ibang tao; because if you do evil things in the name of love, then you just defeat the true meaning of love.

Love should heal you, not destroy you.

AAAAAND heads up! This chapter is written in form of series of flashback so please read carefully para hindi kayo malito. If you're my old reader, ganito ginawa ko sa last chapter ng When I Was Your Man.

STORM

Present day

"Very good," sagot ni Doc Christine, my senior. "Mukhang may magpapa-ice cream, ah!"

Everyone in the OR screamed and I just smiled a little.

I am now a first year resident doctor in Surgery and this is my first operation na ako ang main surgeon at may isang intern na assist. However, there's a senior resident who guided me along the operation.

I asked while suturing together the transversalis fascia of the abdominal wall of the patient.

This hospital is one of the oldest, mas matanda pa sa hospital nina Sabrina.

"He was 70 years old back then when he performed that record-breaking appendectomy," saad ni Doc Christine.

"Focus, Storm. Eyes on the field."

"Sorry, Doc." I tied a knot on the suture and my intern cut it. Then I proceed to the next layer of the abdomen from inside, the internal oblique muscle.

"Within that eight minutes he finished everything: opening, cutting and removal of appendix, closing. Voila!"

Grabe! Lods!

"O sige na, Storm. Scrub out na ko. Kaya mo na 'yan."

"Sige po, Doc. Thank you po."

We finished closing the patient's abdomen.

"Okay. Thank you. You know the punishment kapag naiwala mo ang specimen."

"Yes po, doc. Thank you po, doc. Noted po, doc." Then he started dressing the surgical site of the patient.
