28. Walk alone..🚪

Hardin POV

I wake up with a loud noice, I instantly turn around and notice tessa is not in the bed, I run to the twins room and see them

"Are you guys ok? What was that noice?"

"I don't know... I thought it was you" tessa sights

"It's the person" emery says

I thought she would have forgotten that.... emery never lies but there's no one

Tessa looks at me "we should get you guys ready for school" she tries to change the subject

"Can I please stay home, I'm not feeling well" Auden asks us

"Buddy what about you both go to school and if you keep feeling bad I will pick you up from school"

He nods "ok you guys put clothes on and I will make breakfast"

Tessa leaves and I follow her "Tess"

"I don't understand, what if there is actually someone here" she asks me

"There's no one, I checked, and why would they stay the night and don't do a single thing, if there was actually someone here he/she would've stole something"

"I guess" she sights and starts making pancakes

"Where's my morning kiss?" She turns around and kisses me, I wrap my arms around her and she lays her head on my chest

"I feel so nauseous"

"Aww baby" I kiss her cheek "it's only the first months, I'm sorry you are not feeling good"

"I hate the first trimester, last time with the twins I threw up almost every morning"

"Just think about that little baby, you can do it babe, I love you so much" I kiss her forehead

"Me too" she turns around and makes pancakes

Emery and Auden come running "we are ready"

Tessa turns around "what are you guys wearing?"

"It's pretty mommy" emery tells tessa spinning

"That shirt doesn't really match with that pants... and oh buddy, what is that. I will help you guys"

"Tess, it's ok, just let them go like that" tessa always like them to be matching and perfect

"I'm hungry" Auden says sitting on the chair

"I'm almost done"

After 5 minutes she finishes and puts the pancakes on the table

Auden takes two and starts eating them "Buddy slow down you are going to choke"

He nods and I help emery eat hers, she looks so sad.... she isn't a morning person but she's never like this

"I'm not hungry.." she tells me sad

"Em you need to eat, you have school all morning" I get up and wash some strawberries

"Eat this for me" she sights and eats them

Tessa sights while fixing Auden's messy hair "I literally just cut your hair and now it's almos covering your eyes" she tells Auden frustrated

"I like it like that mommy"

"Baby don't worry about it, just eat" I pull her on my lap

"Hardin I need to do things they are going to be late for school" tessa tells me while trying to get up

"First eat, remember you are eating for two" i tell her serious

"Why two?" Emery asks

"The baby and mommy" I tell her

"Oh.... I can give you my food if you want mommy"

"I'm ok em, but thanks"

We all finish eating and Tessa starts cleaning everything while I brush emery's hair

"Oww daddy! That hurts" emery tells me mad

"I'm sorry"

Then I hear Auden arguing with Tessa "why are they fighting daddy?"

"I don't know em"

Tessa POV

"I don't want to go!" Auden shouts at me "my head really hurts!"

"I know Auden, but you don't have a fever..... me and daddy have to work, but if it keep hurting I promise I will pick you up from school"

I fix his messy hair "stop touching it" he takes my hands from his hair

I know something happened to him, he's never like this with me

"Do you have a problem in school? Does someone bully you?" I ask him

"What? No! My head just hurts because I stayed up all night for emery! Why don't you understand!"

"Why would you do that?" I ask him confused

"Becau-" he gets cut off by Hardin

"Stop the shouting! You don't shout at your mom"

"Hardin it's ok" I look at his eyes

Auden grabs his backpack and walk to the the front door

"Where do you think you are going?" Hardin stops him

"I'm walking to school"

"Auden you are five, there are bad people out there"

"At least better than you" I'm so confused... why would he stay up all night? Scared of his nightmares? But he said it was for emery
