45. Labor..(p2)

Hardin POV

As soon as we hung up with the twins tessa falls asleep right away

I'm so relieved the epidural worked and she's not in pain, I hate seeing her in pain

I'm so hungry i haven't eaten because i was next to tessa, and she's not supposed to eat while she's in labor

I sit on the couch next to her bed and eat a big sandwich, I bought before

I get stuck starting at tessa, she's so beautiful, sometimes I ask myself how did I got so lucky, she's gorgeous, she's literally sent from heaven

She's the best mom, the best wife, the best cooker, she's the best at everything. She's my wold

I remember she once told me she didn't belonged to my world, how could she say that if she is my world, she is my sun, my galaxy, my love...

And I ask myself why do women have to do all the work, pushing a baby out, feeding them, having a period, and me, I just make babies, I'm such a useless bastard

Why does she love me? I have no idea... but she saved me, i would be probably a drug addict or some shit....

I wake up with a nurse shaking me "the baby is coming" I look at her confused and then look at the clock... it's 5:47 am

"Sr, your wife is having the baby right no-" she gets cut off by tessa screaming

I quickly get up and look at her, when did this all happened?! She's literally almost pushing

"Baby" I stand next to her "why didn't you wake me up?"

"Hardin I just woke up, a few minutes ago, the nurse checked me and I'm 10 centimeters dilated" she closes her eyes in pain "I can feel her head, she's literally right there" she says out of breath

"So she's coming?! Like right now" I ask her exited

She nods and a few nurses walk in

I can't believe it, i hold her hand and she looks at me with that gorgeous face of hers. She's still the most beautiful woman alive when she's giving birth

"We are going to do some practice pushes" a nurse tells tessa sweetly

She nods and opens her legs putting them on a metal thing "first time?" She asks tessa

"No, we have twins"

"And you had them naturally or a c-section?" She ask her while setting some things up

"Naturally" she squeezes my hand having another contraction

"Wow, you are a champ. On your next contraction you can start pushing"

As soon as she starts having a contraction she starts pushing while the nurse counts to ten

"Ok, stop! You are going to have the baby right now if you keep going" she laughs

She stops and looks at me exhausted "You got this baby" I whisper on her ear, next thing I know the doctor is walking in

The same doctor that delivered the twins "are you ready to have this baby?" He asks Tessa

"Yes, I'm done being pregnant" she tells him

"Then let's do it"

They set up everything I hold one of Tessa's leg "you got this, I love you so much just imagine that little girl"

She nods with a big smile "dad would you like to watch everything, it's a beautiful procedure" a nurse tells me

I look at her a little shocked, I don't know if I'm capable of watching the hole thing, it's too much, but this might be our last baby....

Should I? What if I pass out, I can't pass out I need to be there for tessa

I look at tessa and she's already looking at me "I think you should, Well it's up to you" she tells me

I take a big breath "ok, but if you need me right by your side you tell me"

"Hardin it's ok, you are literally next to me, it's just that you are going to watch a baby come out of me, are you sure you want to watch that? What if you get disgusted and you never want to-"

"Tess, you are beautiful and you would never, ever disgust me, never ok?" I kiss her head

She nods and I stand next to the doctor, omg how is that- omg-

okay Hardin relax you can do it

I look back at tessa with a reassuring smile, I feel like I'm going to pass out

"Ok on your next contraction start pushing" the doctor tells her

After 30 seconds she starts having one "push, push, push" one nurse tells her and then another counts to ten

Omg how is that posible, i already see her head, this is crazy

"Keep going baby, I see her head" I look at her and she's with her eyes closed, her face getting red while she pushes hard

When the nurse gets to ten she lets out a big breath

"That was great, if you keep pushing like that she will be here in less than 15 minutes" the doctor tells her

"Baby, I saw her head, she has no hair, she's probably going to be blonde, you are doing so good"

After 5 pushes her head is out, this is too much, I feel like passing out, I have never seen something like that

One nurse is literally holding me

"Mr Scott, you should take a breath, drink water, you look a little pail" one of the nurses tells me leading me to a chair

"Hardin!" Is the last word I hear...
