42. Overdue pregnancy..🤰

*3 months later*

Hardin POV

Life is crazy, Tessa is 40 weeks pregnant, way overdue, she was supposed to have her 2 and a half weeks ago

But apparently she's comfy over there, I feel bad for tessa, she can't really sleep at night because her bump...is so big, and when she finally falls asleep she wakes up because she has to pee

Her ankles and toes are really swollen and she's not feeling very good

On a side note we finished the baby's room, Tessa worked really hard on it and it's seriously straight from Pinterest, it's perfect

We are so excited for her to be here, molly and Lucas have helped us so much with the twins, they take them to school everyday, and they are just the best

We are all just patiently waiting for this little girl to come

It's currently 7pm on a Friday night and we are making pizza for dinner

"I think I'm going for a walk, I need to get in labor" tessa tells me exhausted

"It's getting dark baby, what about I go with you tomorrow morning" I kiss her forehead

"I will go with her" molly tells us

"Ok but if anything happens you call me right away" I tell both of them

"Can I go?" Emery asks

"No em, you need to get in your pijamas, mommy is just going because it's going to help the baby come quicker"

She sights "ok"

I pick her up and kiss her cheek "what about we watch a movie?"

I instantly see a smile on her face, I love this little girl so much

"Ok please be safe and call us if you need anything"

They leave and I put a movie for emery while I talk with Lucas

"So when are you having kids bro" I ask Lucas, I know they are still young but having kids it's the best

"I don't know man, we are just living our life and traveling around the world"

"Plus, kids are hard, I don't know if we would be capable of taking care of them"

"You get used to it, it's amazing"

"Dad can I please go skate with the boys" Auden asks me

"Auden I already told you, it's late and no, you can't, go play with your sister"

"It's not late, I will be back before you know, please" he begs me

"No, go take a shower and get ready for bed, dinner is almost ready"

"Ugh! I hate you!" He storms to his room

He's just like me....just wait till he's a teenager, oh boy, I really don't know what we're going to do

"Well he got some attitude" Lucas tells me eating chips

"Uncle Lucas! Come watch this movie with me!" Emery tells him

He smirks and sits on the couch next to her

I can't stop thinking of tessa, what if her water just broke and they don't make it to the hospital

Idk, I'm so stressed, I just hate seeing her in so much pain but at the same time I want this to be done, to complete our family

After half an hour they get back "nothing works, I need to have this kid, I have tried everything, in 2 days I will turn 41 weeks pregnant, I don't think I can do it anymore" tessa says sitting down

"Don't worry baby, she's going to come when she's ready, everything is going to be ok, and yes, yes you can do it, you carried twins and give birth to both of them, you can do anything"

I sit next to her and wrap my arms around her, she puts her head on my chest and I play with her hair

"Dinner is almost done" I whisper in her ear and she smiles

"Em can you put pause on the movie we are going to eat dinner"

"1 more minute this is my favorite part. Look uncle Lucas! Look!" She says jumping

Why can't she just stay this age forever....

"I'm watching em" Lucas tells her with a big smile, I look at molly and she looks sad, I know she really wants a kid...

"Where's Auden?" Tessa asks me

"In his room, Tess i think we should ground him, he needs to learn"

Tessa sights "just not tonight... I will go get him"

Tessa POV

I slowly walk to Auden's room and open the door, as soon as I walk in I see him sleeping on the floor

I slowly sit on the floor and rub my finger on his face "Buddy" I whisper

And he slowly wakes up "hm?" He asks half asleep

"Dinner is ready" I move his dirty blonde hair off his face

"I'm not hungry" he tells me rubbing his eyes, I look at my clock, and it's past their bedtime, that's why he's so tired

"Are you sure? It's pizza"

He nods and cuddles between my legs "let's get you on your pijamas, brush your teeth and then you can sleep"

I help him put his pijamas on, brush his teeth and read him a book

I get cut off by a knock on the door "tess?" Molly asks

She walks in "dinner is ready and the boys are complaining"

"I'm almost done, start eating I will be there in 5" I tell her

"Ok, goodnight buddy"

"Night molly" Auden tells her

She leaves and I finish reading Auden a book "goodnight Auden" I kiss his forehead "if you change your mind we are in the kitchen" I get up

"Wait mommy" with that my heart instantly melts, he hasn't called me mommy for more than 6 months, I missed it

I look at him with a big smile "can you please stay, can I sleep with you? Pleaseeeee" he puts his head on my belly

"I would but I'm so hungry, what about I go eat and then if you are awake I stay with you"

He nods "ok, I love you , please be quick, and you cuddle with me not with emery" he tells me with a grin on his face

"Ok mommy's boy"

"No I'm not........ well maybe a little, no I'm not" we both laugh and I mess his hair

"Goodnight bud"
