Cedric and Oakley sat and talked with each other for another hour. They felt as though they were the only people on the planet, cooped up in the attic together, drinking and laughing and just being able to be together without worrying.

Oakley sat on the floor next to Cedric, leaning against the coffee table while facing him and sipping her drink. She got lost in his eyes, in his voice, in everything as he talked about his favorite Quidditch team. He got so excited when he talked about Quidditch- it made Oakley's heart melt.

Cedric looked down at his watch when he finished telling her about the last Quidditch match he went to with his father. 10:26 pm.

"Hey," he said, cupping the side of her face with his free hand. "It's starting to get late. We can't hide from this party forever, I'm sure people want to speak with you,"

"You're right," she sighed. "I wish we could stay here all night,"

"So do I," he said with a soft smile.

Oakley reached for his shoulder and pulled him towards her slightly. Their lips connected and began moving slowly, but passionately. Oakley didn't know when she would get to kiss him again, so she completely melted into him. They both put down their glasses and pulled each other closer until there wasn't a centimeter of space between the two. His fingers were running through her hair, holding her face steady while he deepened the intimacy of the kiss.

Cedric leaned backward and Oakley was laying on top of him, her legs on either side of his body. His hands found their way to her thighs, squeezing them through her dress. She parted from his lips and began kissing his jawline and neck. His hands continued to roam around her body as she sucked on his soft, pale skin, turning parts of it a deep shade of red. She did her best to mark him in places that weren't visible when his robes were on as to not raise suspicion. She began kissing him again causing him to wrap a hand around her neck, slightly squeezing the sides as their tongues slipped across each other.

They continued like this for nearly fifteen minutes before making the realization that they had been planning on going back downstairs. They composed themselves and fixed their hair and clothes before Cedric left first, ensuring nobody saw them leaving together. Oakley waited about three minutes before she descended the stairs and rejoined the masses after more than two hours of happiness spent with the man she loved.

"There you are!" Oakley's mother ran over towards her, anger pulsing through her veins. "Do you know how long we've been looking for you? I can't believe you right now! The disrespect you've inflicted upon this family is so degrading, I just-"

"Mom!" Oakley exclaimed. "Stop! I was overwhelmed, okay? Can't you understand that this might be a little much for me at 16?"

"You've been preparing for this your whole life, so I expect you to act that way," Donna stated through gritted teeth. "I am so disappointed with your behavior these last few days, I- oh Mrs. Cunningham! How good to see you! Just a moment!"

She turned back to Oakley quickly.

"I have to go speak with her. Behave yourself, will you? We'll talk about this later." She then walked away.

William soon came up behind Oakley and wrapped an arm around her causing her to tense at the contact.

"You know, Oakley," he whispered into her ear. "You'd think you and pretty boy Diggory would've listened to me when I said to stay away from each other. Now you've put me in a difficult situation,"

"What are you talking about, Will?" she asked. "There's nothing happening between Cedric and I! How many times do I have to drill that into your mind?"
