"Why so sudden?"

Halos umikot ang mga mata ko nang matanaw ang pag taas ng kilay ni Kish. I just told her about my decision awhile ago. I think about it for the whole day,  now I finally made up my mind.

"Hindi nalang tayo sumabay kay Airvieh! We even let her went home alone!"

"Hindi rin tayo makakasabay sa kanya dahil private ang pag byahe no'n. She's a model, alam mo naman na siguro ang proseso no'n."

She sighed and dropped her body to my bed. "So what's the plan?"

I looked away and started to arrange some of my things. "Let's go home. I'll message my Mom first, while you'll book for our tickets. Make it private and rush as much as possible."

Napaahon siya dahil sa sinabi ko, nanlalaki ang mga mata at hindi makapaniwala sa narinig mula sa akin.

"This is ridiculous! Bakit parang nag mamadali ka yata? Did something happened? Emergency ba?"

I shook my head and averted my eyes away from her. Kaunti nalang ay alam kong mabubuking niya na ako. Kish knew me since I was a kid, ewan ko na lang kung hindi niya pa rin ako mahahalata ngayon.

"Oh, wala naman pala eh!"

"Don't you wanna go back?" I swallowed hard, asking her without looking at her way.

"Why would I? Masaya na 'ko rito? It's more peaceful.."

Natulala ako at sandaling napaisip. She has a point. Before I can even speak, she immediately talked again.

"But you're not me. Baka ako masaya na rito, pero ikaw.. Hindi. Kaya kung gusto mo nang umuwi, okay lang." Kish added in a serious voice. "But I wanna ask you first, why do you want to go back? Kasi sa pagkakaalam ko, ayaw mo na 'di ba?"

Binitawan ko ang maleta at matigas siyang hinarap. Her eyebrow raised a bit, waiting for my answer. Suminghap ako at inilabas ang iniisip ko mula pa kagabi.

"Yes, I am happy being here for the past months. It's peaceful, far from the chaotic problems, far from my loveones, far—"

"Far away from him?" she continued instead.

I stopped and stared at Kish for awhile. Alright. I'm telling her the truth.

"He called last night."

"Ayon.." pumalakpak siya, tila natumpak ang kutob niya. "Oh, anong sabi?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Nothing, he just greeted me.."

"Iyon lang?"

I nodded.

"Talaga? Hindi kayo nag usap? Hindi ka sumagot pabalik? Walang I missed you?"

I rolled my eyes. "Hindi nga, binabaan ko.."

That's true though, I don't know what to say because I was too shocked to even move and think. As soon as I heard him say that, I immediately dropped the call and think about going back at the Philippines.

"Hay naku Exzerie, ayoko na lang na gisahin ka ngayon dahil alam kong ang dami dami nang tumatakbo sa isip mo.." aniya tila'y sumasakit ang ulo sa pagkausap sa akin.

My lips protruded. "Just come home with me. Bring your boyfriend with us if you want."

"That's my plan," she nodded, grinning from ear to ear. "Saan tayo tutuloy pag uwi natin?"

Hmm. About that..

"To our house. For sure papayag naman sila Mommy."

We already make up everything for the past months. Hindi ganoon kahirap patawarin ang Parents ko dahil sa nangyari. Bumawi sila, kagaya ng dapat. Especially my Dad. Kung pinayagan ko siguro silang dumalaw sa akin sa nagdaang mga buwan, baka pa ginawa na din nila. But I refused. I want to stay alone for the mean time, that's why we just remained talking with each other thru phone and face time.
