I looked around in panic, searching for the person who seemed to have the same ability as mine.
Kaagad na nilapitan ni Luna Miadyn si Alekxus at niyakap ito habang patuloy ang panginginig at sigaw ng kaniyang anak. Pareho ang nangyayari kay Kaizon, only that it is Stephanie who's on his side, trying her best to contain the raging and fearful werewolf.
"Stop it, bitch!" galit na utos sa akin ni Stephanie.
"Red," napabaling ako kay Luna Miadyn, "What's happening?" bakas ang panic sa boses niya.
Nagbalik ang attensyon ko kayna Alekxus at Kaizon. They're now voicing out their fear.
"She didn't choose me...she's gone..." mumbled Alekxus, nanginginig ang katawan katulad ni Kaizon, his eyes are reddish and distant. Pinipilit niyang hindi umiyak but he's bound to lose any time now.
"She died. After everything I did to prevent her death, she still died..." bulong naman ni Kaizon sa kawalan. His lips look bloodless. Nanlalambot ang katawan, parang wala nang ganang mabuhay.
"It's not me, Luna, not me!" sambit ko. Akala siguro ni Stephanie, siya ang kinakausap ko kaya sumingit siya,
"I don't believe you! I said stop it, bitch!"
And then as if a phantom of air, a person in a hoodless black cloak with a white expressionless mask appeared at Stephanie's side.
Bigla nitong hinila ang mahabang buhok ng Luna ng mga Oleanders pataas, lifting Stephanie's body with this movement.
And in a flat, robotic tone, sinabi nito, "The name for our kind may sound the same, but based from what I've seen and what I just discovered about you, my dear," inilapit nito ang nakamaskarang mukha kay Stephanie, "It's clear who's the real bitch here, isn't it, fuckin' whore?" And with that, sinapak niya si Stephanie at tumalipon ito papalayo.
