"Prince Legolas! Do you really eat your food from golden plates?"

"Is it true every morning a bard writes and performs a song as you eat your breakfast?"

"Why aren't you married, Prince Legolas? Aren't you getting a little old?"

"Is it true you know Isildur's heir?"

"Why do you wear dresses, sire?"

Legolas wanted nothing more than to slap his hands over his head and pretend all of them were invisible. But the children were surrounding him, and he had no way of escaping. He twisted around, trying to seek aid by from the teacher. She was standing by the door, slowly scooting out of the room.

"Excuse me! Miss--"

She paused, cringing. "It's Miss (L/N). Yes, your majesty?"

"Where are you going?!" he cried.

"I am... going to see if I can find your father. See if he has any time to spare to answer some questions that will actually be beneficial to the children's education. You should be able to look after the children." He thought she was glaring at him, but she couldn't tell. He watched helplessly as she sauntered out the door, leaving him to care for class.

Poldo giggled to himself, shuffling over to sit next to Muin, a tapped his fingers on her shoulder. She recoiled from him, frowning. "What do you want?!" she snapped.

"I have a good idea."

"No! I don't want to be part of your plans anymore. You always leave me to take the blame. No, not anymore!"

"This one is actually good! And it means we don't need to do this project. And it also means we get less homework!"

Muin's eyes glittered, and she smiled. "How?"

A mischievous look came over Poldo. "Simple. We get Prince Legolas and Miss (L/N) together."

"You can't do that, Poldo!"

"Think of the free time we'll have! No homework, just running around all day with no one to tell us what to do!"

The young girl beamed, and held out her hand. "All right! But if something goes wrong, I'll blame you!"

"That's all right. I'll blame you like I always do."

And so the two spat on their hands and shook on the deal. Their plan was acted upon immediately. Poldo moved his way through the crowd of his classmates, and stood before the prince, immovable and stubborn, staring straight up at him. Legolas smiled down at him; there was no response. The boy just stared. And stared. And stared.
