Descendants star Aubrey Summers cast in new Netflix original series produced by Kenny Ortega.
It was recently announced that Summers would be teaming up with Ortega once again; This time for a remake of Brazilian sit-com Julie and the Phantoms, which is about a young girl who forms a band with three ghost musicians from the 90s. While the show will be similar to the original, there are still some significant changes; Aubrey has been cast to play a new character, Elena Molina, the older sister of Julie Molina, played by newcomer Madison Reyes. Alongside both girls, we have actors Charlie Gillespie, Owen Joyner, and Jeremy Shada playing the three phantoms that suddenly appear in these girls lives.
