Chapter 31

Pha's pov:

We ate in comfortable silence.

He started gobling everything down after the first bite.

He was really hungry.

I smiled warmly.

I glanced at his lips.

I remembered the kiss from yesterday.

He seems to have noticed me staring.

He covered his lips and blushed deeply.

I grinned widely.

"You didn't blush when you kissed me yesterday." I teased him.

He blushed even deeper.

"W-well i wasn't really thinking straight so...." He mumbled.

"You wanted confirmation that i was really with you. That's why you kissed me." I said.

He slowly nodded.

"If I'm completely honest i did enjoy it." I smiled.

Even his ears turned red.

His eyes were glued to the table.

I chuckled at his expression.

"P' can we make oreo cheesecake today?" He asked after i finished washing the dishes.

"Again?" I raised my eyebrows.

He really loved oreo cheesecake out of all the desserts we made.

We've made it five times in the last two weeks.

He fiddle with his fingers and looked down.

"Sure. Why not? And how about we make two today? I have a feeling we'll be having guests." I said.

He smiled widely and nodded.

"Come on." I put him on a stool near the counter.

"I'm not letting you walk around until you're completely back to normal. So you'll be working while sitting today." I said when he looked at me questioning.

He nodded obediently.

We made two cheesecakes pretty fast.

I grabbed some books from the reading room and we went to the shed like place after putting them in the refrigerator.

We sat down on the lounge chairs and started reading.

After around 2 hours, my phone rang.

It was Beam.

"I'll just take this call." I looked at Ming.

He nodded.

I went out and accepted the call.

"Hey."

"Open the door." He said straightforwardly.

I sighed and hung up.

"Ming i'll be back. Wait here ok?" I went and said to Ming.

He nodded again.

I went into the house and opened the door.

Beam and Forth were standing there. I opened the door wider and let them in.

I looked at Forth.

"I'm here to meet my brother." He smiled.

I smiled as well.

I led them to the backyard.

"How about we give them some time alone?" Beam held my arm.
