yesterday i went home instead of the twins. i needed time off. i drove back there this morning and elijah was surprised to see me. he called isaac down and he too was surprised

madison: hey babe

isaac: babe? you broke up with me last night. remember?

madison: wh-

a girl walks downstairs and wraps her arms around isaac.

madison: good to see you move on fast.

isaac: you're the one that texted me-

madison: i didn't fucking text you! i don't care anyway

i look at the girl

?: yo i didn't even know i'm sorry..

madison: it's alright

?: can i get a ride home?

madison: sure

she runs upstairs and comes back down with a bag.

isaac: wait-

madison: be more like your twin.

elijah stops eating and looks at me innocently.

madison: go out with food or some shit. just stop using girls because they mean way more than a good fuck.

i walk out with the girl and we get in my car.

?: holy shit. 67 barracuda? you got money?

madison: it was my dad's. i'm madison by the way

?: layla. pleased to meet you.

i begin to drive to who knows where

madison: how did you and isaac meet?

layla: a few days ago there was a party and we got drunk and hooked up. since then i've been seeing him on the low. he told me he was single.

msdison: he was. literally two days ago we started dating. if i knew he would be this dumb i wouldn't have said yes. so where do you live?

layla: about that..

madison: you don't have a place to stay?

layla: no. i got kicked out of my parents house last night.

madison: well. i guess you can stay with me.

layla: really? holy shit. i'm staying with madison gonzalez!

madison: you know me?

layla: everyone knows you. you should become a model or some shit

madison: nah. i'm not up for the work.

layla: makes sense. you're still fine as fuck though.

madison: thank you

layla: you and billie a thing yet?

madison: nah.

layla: if i shoot my shot would i miss?

madison: i'll take it into consideration

layla: i'll take that as a no.

we laugh and i pull up at my house. we both get out and go inside and she looks around astonished.

madison: make yourself at home. there's a pool in the back and three bedrooms upstairs, two down here. pick one except for the one that's occupied. that's my room. and the one with the red leds, don't go in there. it's billie's.
