interviewer: and uh- madison, how are you?

madison: i'm good thanks

i smile as the man smiles back and continues asking billie the last questions. since billie's vanity fair interview, we were asked to do interviews from all over the place. everybody loves us already and we're like the couple people wish they were. it was now the end and we were closing up.

interviewer: well, thank you billie eilish and madison gonzalez

madison: thank you-

billie: -for having us

i look at her like she did not just cut me off. we get off camera and get ready to go.

madison: oh my god the only things i need right now is food then sleep.

she frowns as i grab claudia from finneas and we begin to walk out holding hands.

claudia: where's bil?

madison: back with maggie and finn

claudia: you're not gonna walk with her?

madison: nah, i've been with her all day

she laughs and we continue walking until we get to finneas' car. i hug her and then finneas pats my head when he gets to us

madison: see y'all at home

they leave and i go to billie's car

billie: you're not going with them?

madison: is there a problem with me going with you?

billie: no

i pull my phone out of my pocket and begin playing on it. a while later i look at her to find her focused on the road. her hand was in her lap and not on my thigh like usual. i reach over and grab it, making sure to see her reaction. when she lets it happen i place it on my thigh and pat it twice. i put my phone down and start to play with the rings on her fingers.

madison: are you mad at me?

billie: me? mad? at you? pfft no never

madison: that was so sarcastic

billie: fun

madison: why are you mad

billie: didn't you want food earlier? let's go get you food

she pulls into the tacobell drive through and gets my usual before driving back to her house. we're greeted by maggie straight away

billie: hi mom

maggie: you're home

madison: hi mom

maggie: madison!

she walks to me and we hug. recently i've been calling her mom and she's so used to it now. we pull away and look at billie, who's giving us a resting bitch face

billie: honestly you can keep her

she walks away and upstairs and we both laugh.

maggie: hey

madison: yeah?

maggie: are you and billie okay?

madison: yeah

maggie: you know you can tell me.

madison: i know, and i will if there's something wrong. right now we're okay, i promise

maggie: then why is billie acting weird

madison: i'm about to go find out

she nods and i run upstairs and go into billie's room. she turns her phone off and gets off the bed

billie: okay i'm gonna let you eat then you can go to sleep

madison: you're not gonna stay with me?

billie: you said you want food and sleep.

madison: well i want cuddles too

she points to a big bear that's on her bed.

madison: i wanna cuddle you

billie: sorry, that's an invalid answer

i hit her arm and she laughs then jumps on the bed, opening her arms out for me

billie: come here mamas

i smile and then we get comfortable.

madison: this guy,

i point to the bear

madison: ,is still mine though.

she laughs and i fall asleep.

billie: baby stay with me!

billie cried as she put pressure on the wound. everyone was gone. half of everyone.

billie: the ambulance are on their way just stay with me please

i couldn't reply. all i could do was cry with her. i was dying. only now had i taken a moment to realise i'm not gonna make it. my whole life flashes before my eyes, everything seeming to go slow but my mind going fast. everything around begins to fade as i take in billie's scent for the last time.

billie: baby? baby stay with me! i can't lose you!

i dart up immediately and look to my side, finding billie next to me playing video games quietly. she looks at me then furrows her eyebrows

billie: ..you okay?

i couldn't talk to her. instead i broke down. she puts the control down and moves closer to me, pulling me into her embrace.

billie: was it the same dream?

i nod silently while sobbing. i had been having that same dream for a while now and i told billie about it. at first she shrugged it off because it hardly ever repeated but now it's like a movie immediately starting when i fall asleep.

billie: it's okay baby. you're okay.

her hand finds it's way into my shirt and she places her warm hand on my stomach. that's where i got shot in the dream. her hand slips out and she puts it up for both of us to look at it.

billie: see? no blood. it was just a dream baby. you're safe now and it's just you and me okay?

i nod. her hand trails up to my chin and she slightly moves it, making me look at her.

billie: you wanna go back to sleep?

i shake my head and furrow my eyebrows, almost starting to cry again.

billie: okay, okay. you can stay up with me.

she sits back properly and grabs the controller again, resuming her game. i rest my head on her shoulder, closing my eyes but refusing to fall asleep.

madison: i'm gonna go get a drink do you want anything?

billie: i'll come with you

she puts the controller down and we get out of the bed then go downstairs, our fingers intertwined. when we get into the kitchen we both go through the cupboards and fridge grabbing us drinks and food, just enough so we don't have to come back downstairs. finneas was in the livingroom playing video games while we grabbed everything. we both walk into the livingroom and billie trows a bag of cheetos at him.

billie: if you're gonna stay up all night eat

he nods and smiles then we walk into her room.

billie: what do you wanna do?

madison: i don't know, what do you wanna do?

billie: i don't know. for now let's chill.

billie: i can't believe you're mine

the rest of the night we watched movies and ate a l o t. i can't believe she's mine either
