Chapter 2: Friends

Y/n's POV
"Goodmorning, my name is (Y/n) Kuroba." I said bowing

"She's so pretty~!"

"A goddess!"

"Do you have a boyfriend!"

"I have a brother. Do you want to meet him?" I said fake smiling

Everyone laughed and the teacher silence them.

"Quiet everyone. (Y/n), you can choose an empty seat." Mrs. Rose said and I looked around

I saw a empty seat at the back next to a window. Boys were telling me to sit next to them but I ignored them. I sat down and the teacher started the lesson. I was staring outside the window and asked myself why do we keep changing schools.

~ lunch time ~

I was outside in the soccer field just looking around.

"(Y/n)? Why are you here? Did you get a tour of the school?" I turned around and saw Kaito

"No." I said turning back around and walking forward

"Huh? Why?" He asked walking by my side

"What's the point? We'll transfer to another school anyways."

When I said that he stopped walking making me stop. I turned around and Kaito as looking down.

"I just want to keep you safe...." He mumbled

I went closer to him and put my head on his shoulder.

"I know how too protect myself. Don't worry too much."

I pulled away and saw him smiling, he rubbed my head. "I'll go grab us something to drink." I nodded and he went inside

"Hey! (Y/n)-chan!" I looked to the direction where my name was called and saw the girl from this morning.

"Oh hey."

"I was looking for you everywhere. The teacher asked me to give you a tour around the school."

"U-uh." I didn't know what to say. My shyness was taking over me and I hated that.

"Let's go?" She asked as she grabbed my hand

I felt someone grabbed my other and a sweat dropped knowing who it was. My over protective brother.

"Where is she going?" He asked

"Oh Shinichi! I was going to give her tour. Why what's wrong? " The girl asked

"This isn't tug-of-war. Let me go." I said looking down

"Sorry, hehe." The girl said letting me go

"And I'm not Shinichi."

"You aren't?" She asked and Kaito shook his head. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry! You look exactly like Shinichi!" The girl said bowing

"It's okay. Anyways give my little sister a tour. We will be staying here for a long time." Kuroba said smiling at me

"Let's go then."

We went inside and she started the tour.

"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ran, Mouri Ran." She said smiling
