"No way! You cheated!" Levi shouts at me from the other side of the coffee table. He has just landed on my most expensive property and doesn't have enough money to pay, so he is refusing to, claiming that I cheated. Well... Technically I did, but he doesn't need to know that.

"So what if I did? What are you gonna do about it?" I tease him with a smirk dancing on my lips, one eyebrow raised. I can tell I am doing a good job at riling him up by how red his face is. I can just imagine the smoke coming out of his years, and by the sound of booming laughter coming from the living room door, I'm not the only one. There, standing with his arms holding his stomach and laughing his ass off, for the second time today, is River.

"Your face...so red...tomato...smoke...ears!!!" River struggles to get out in between breaths while pointing his finger at Levi. If looks could kill, Riv would be 6 feet under right now. His glare was so intense that you could practically see the lasers shooting from his eyes. Luca, our nicest brother, is holding in his laughter, doing a much better job than the two of us.

From the corner of my eye, I can see my oldest triplet clench his jaw, trying hard not to lash out. The vein on his neck is ticking and his fists are closed so hard that his knuckles are turning white. A sign that he is containing his fury. Barely. My laugh dies down as a slight fear creeps in. Though sweet and caring to his family, Levi has a very short temper and will punch the closest thing if driven over the edge.

Sensing the same thing as me, Luca stands up and slowly walks over, hands in front of him in a sign of surrender "Lee... step away from the board..." he says in a soft voice, and using his childhood nickname, as if he were talking to a ferocious animal that was about to bite his head off. Well, it wasn't that far from the truth... He did look like he was gonna do something like that.

Levi turns around, directing his glare at us before he takes in the slight scared and panicked expression on our faces, and his eyes immediately soften.

"I'm sorry Lee... I didn't mean to make you that mad. I just wanted to tease you..." I say in a small voice, head hung low. I walk over to him and carefully take his big hand in mine, gently unclasping his fingers from its fist position. As he opens his mouth to answer me, an annoying voice speaks up, making me facepalm.

"I'm not! It's always so fun to rile you up!" River says with a smirk. Hearing this, Levi's scowl returns, and before anyone can blink, he throws a hotel from the game at our older brother, hitting bull's eye. Right in the middle of his forehead.

"Ow! What the hell?!" He exclaims, shooting a scowl at a smug Levi "If this leaves a mark, you are so dead." he threatens, turning around to leave. On his way out, I can just make out some profanities leaving his mouth, which I would rather not repeat.

"Language!" I yell at his retreating figure, adding wood to the fire. As a response, he flips me the bird before rounding the corner and disappearing from view.

"How about we forget about the game and start baking the cake? Evan's shift is over in an hour, and Ezekiel is out grocery shopping, then he will pick him up and come home." Luca speaks up. I nod in agreement and kneel down to start tidying up the game. As we clear the small table, I notice Levi still has a scowl on his face. I mentally wince, remembering it's my fault.
