Trigger warning - death eaters

THE surrounding tents were burning to crisps. Tall hooded figures approached them, all dressed in skeleton-like maks. Reality kick in and Arthus began shouting at the teenagers to start moving. Everything he said went over Moon's head she was unable to process anything, everything was muffled and every motion around her felt like it was in slow motion. Arthur soon rushed off towards the dark figures leaving the others scared and confused. The twins soon raced off with Ginny disappearing into the fleeing crowd. The fourteen years olds soon followed trying not to get stampeded in the process, Hermione and Ron dashed in front while Moon and Harry had trouble getting through the crowd. After a couple of minutes of running through the hysterical crowd, Mackenzie lost sight of Harry causing her to freakout and gain Hermione and Ron's attention. Mackenzie glanced around in a panic, she tried to push through, however, the horde had a different idea. Dessperly looking for a way out she was able to hurl herself out of the mob knocking some people over in the process.

"Harry! I'elu! Harry!" She wasn't looking where she was going and bashed headfirst into someone, without saying sorry or checking who it was she bumped passed them. Moon walked a couple of steps before stopping. Her heart podded in her chest, her hands grew clammy as her mouth fell dry. The nightmare of which her aunt frighten her with when she was younger. All the horrible stories Mary-Anne had told her about, the wizards how turned to the dark side draw closer to her. All the poor Muggles who had lost their lives because they lacked magical blood. All of them were followers of you-know-how; the god awful creature how took her cousin's breath without a second thought. Her hatred towards them grew and she knew she had to protect Harry with everything she had, she could not let him get into the clutches of those dreadful people.

A great force snapped her out of her trances, tugging her into the dense forest away from the flames and wreckage.

"Luna? What- I thought you weren't coming" Mackenzie breathed out dumbfounded.

"Yes, I'm here now." Luna blankly stared at her as she kept running past the trees.

"Have you seen Harry I was looking everywhere for him or Ron and Hermione maybe even Ginny and the twins." Moon's words came out fast, worry laced in them. "I lost Harry when we were running away."

"I'm sure you will find him," Luna stated a ghost smile on her face as she continued to pull Moon along.

"Not when you're pulling me in the opposite direction."

"I don't think that's a good idea, those people are -"

"Death eaters," Moon cut her off "I know."

"I was going to say, holding flames and I don't think you're fire proof."

"But a Death eater gathering hasn't happen in years, not since... you don't think he's-he's he can't be back." Moon tried to convince herself.

"I believe he never left, he's always been in one of us."

"What did you just-"

"Did you enjoy the game?" Luna changed the subject.

"What did you-nevermind. I thought it was good, glad the Irish won." Moon was slightly dumbfounded at what her friend said but didn't push it cause she knew she would never get an answer. "What about you?"

"My dad was quite disappointed, he predicted Bulgaria would win, never cen trust a crystal balls."

"HARRY! Harry! I'elu!" Mackenzie screamed as she pushed though the rubble and ash. Looking around for her missing cousin, Luna trailed behind her. Fear and worried filled her, as her only surroundings were brunt to a crisps. "Luna, what if he's not here?" Moon turned around only to she that Luna had completely vansied from sight." Great..." A shout in the distance changed her trail of thoughts. A shot of green light flow into the sky, a skull filled the dark night, a snake slithered out of the mouth curling around in the sky. The familiar voices of Ron and Hermione filled the air, Mackenzie raced over to them. Harry's face come into view; Moon breathed out a sight of relief.

"I've been looking for you idiots everywhere." Moon glared angryly at the three of them. They all glance at her guilty covered their faces.

"What is that?" Harry pointed at the monsterous symbol that filled the sky. Suddenly a poping sound filled the air and spells were throw at them from every direction. The four teenagers ducked to avoid the jinxes.

"STOP! That's my son!" The familiar sound of Arthur voice entered their ears, the adult pushed thought the group of wizards and witches that surrounded the four.

"Which of you conjured this?" A man with a toothbrush mustrch and a top hat, pointed his wand at them, demanding an answer.

"None of us conjured i-" Moon tried to reason.

"Don't lie! You have been discovered at the scene of the crime!" The man went on.

"Crime?" Harry asked confused.

"Barty, they're just kids," Arthur implied.

"What crime?" Harry asked again, looking at his friends for help.

"Harry" Hermione started at him worriedly, "it's his mark." Shock filled Harry as the confusion drifted away.
