Taka's (and Ishida's) First Video Chat with Kiibo

"So you're planning on calling Kiibo now?" Mondo asks.

Kiyotaka nods.
"We discussed it earlier, and he said it'd be fine if we did it today."

"Well, do you need me to leave?" the biker asks while pointing to the door.
"I'm sure you need privacy for this. I don't wanna intrude on your meeting."

"Now that you mention it, I think that would be a good idea. Plus, if you're here, I think both of us would get distracted, especially me."

Mondo nods.
"Yeah, okay. Well, I'll be going now. Bye, bro."

"Goodbye!" Kiyotaka replies as the biker heads out the door.

Kiyotaka grabs his phone out of a drawer, powering up the app he used for video chatting, which happened to be the same one that had all of his group chats (there were three of them). He clicks on Kiibo's name, calling the robot.

After a few seconds, Kiibo's face shows up on the prefect's screen. Elena the budgie is on his head.
"Hello, Ishimaru-kun!"

Kiyotaka raises an eyebrow.
"Is that Shinguji-kun's budgerigar on your head, Kiibo-kun?" he asks.

"Yes, it is!" Kiibo replies.
"Shinguji-kun and Amami-kun decided I could take her out of the dorm for a while."

The budgie chirps, and Kiibo sticks a finger by the side of his head. Elena then steps onto it, and Kiibo lowers his finger. The robot smiles.
"Isn't she a cute bird?" he asks.

"Yes, she is! And a well behaved one, at that. Shinguji-kun has done a good job taming her."

The sound of the door opening can be heard from Kiibo's end.

"Who you talking to, Kiibo?"
Within a few seconds, Shuichi can be seen as well.

"I'm talking to Ishimaru-kun for our video chat," Kiibo replies.
"The one we were talking about in the group chat yesterday?"

The detective nods.
"Yeah, I remember. Do you mind if I stay?"

"No, not at all!" Kiibo replies.

Shuichi settles down next to Kiibo, a small smile on his face. Elena hops off of Kiibo's finger and onto Shuichi's leg. The robot chuckles.

"I see you're staying, Saihara-kun," says Kiyotaka.

"Hopefully I don't get in the way," Shuichi mumbles.

"Shuichi, you're not going to get in the way," Kiibo reassures the detective.
"You being with me during this won't hurt anything. At least, I don't think so."

Kiibo presses a kiss to Shuichi's cheek, and Shuichi blushes a bit.
"Kiibo... you do realize Ishimaru just saw you do that, right?"

Kiyotaka chuckles.
"It doesn't bother me, Saihara-kun," he says.

"I'm just not used to Kiibo doi-"
Before Shuichi can finish his sentence, the robot's lips land on his, causing him to blush even more. Elena, meanwhile, flutters back up to Kiibo's head.

"I don't know what's more fun to watch: the bird or you two," Kiyotaka says.

After a couple of seconds, Kiibo and Shuichi's lips separate (leaving the detective very flustered and the robot smiling), and he notices Elena on Kiibo's head.
"Hey, why'd you leave me?" Shuichi asks the budgie softly, earning a small chirp in reply.

Kiibo giggles.
"Apparently she likes my head."

"Well, I don't blame her," Shuichi says with a shrug.
"Your hair's really soft, Kiibo. Plus she has the ahoge to fool around with."
