Miguel POV

We cleaned the table after both of us were satisfied with the amount of food that we swallowed tonight. Looking at her pout, I couldn't help but let her have another piece of donut before we clean the table.

After dinner, we decided to take a rest in the living room. The TV was playing some random movie, but we were busy cuddling with each other. She was lying beside me while I wrapped her figure with my arms.

"Miguel, can you tell me what happened after our last conversation at the beach?" Her hands were on my chest.

"Uh, that was hurt to recall," the memory started to play on my head like some sort of love movie. "I leave London right after that and the next day I arrived there; we were spending our night at the bar. They tried to cheer me up as they were aware of our situation."

"I saw your picture with a girl at the bar and you looked so happy in that picture." A peal of chuckles escaped my mouth, sensing her jealousy. I almost forget about that part where Manuel brought his friends to join us.

"I smell something calls jealousy here. Did you smell it?" I teased.

"No, nothing like that. So, what is the progress with the girl? Is that the same girl that you kissed at the event?"

"No, it was different girls."

"Wait, what? You mean there were two girls?" She lifted her head and now staring at me with her questionable look. I couldn't help but laugh at her confused yet jealous face.

"I didn't meet the girl at the bar after that night, so don't worry about that. Manuel wants to introduce us but nothing happened after that as there wasn't any spark between us. I mean I don't have the intention to know her more." I explained not wanting her to get mad.

"I really want to punch Manuel's face right now." Her badass side made me laughed harder. She narrowed her eyes and rested her head on my chest.

"Now tell me about the girl at the event."

"Hmm, she is one of the business partners. We don't have any relationship other than business." I played with her long hair, inhaling her scent.

"But, I saw you kissed her." She gushed.

"Just on the hand, Caramel. And, I purposely did that." I confessed the last sentence in a low tone whilst suppressed the laughter from escaping my mouth at the moment. She pulled a gap between us sat on the couch glancing down at me as if she was a predator that waiting for the right time to end her victim's life. I pulled myself up, adjusted my position while leaning against the couch.

"Did I hear it wrongly? You said you purposely did that?" I hummed in response.

"Why?"

"Because I'm aware you were there and I wanted to make you realize your feeling." With that, she stood from the couch and ready to walk away, but I was fast enough. I immediately pulled her and made her stumbled and fell on my lap. I caged her with both arms on each side of her hips before she has the chance to walk away.

"I'm angry now, Miguel. I don't want to talk to you." She refused to look at me but I clamped her chin and force her to twirl her head.

"You promised me you won't get angry." I gently reminded her even though I knew she wasn't really mad at me, probably, just a bit annoyed but there was more about it that I need to confess.

"Whose idea is that?" She pouted while waiting for my answer.

"You will be surprised if I tell you," I grinned thinking about the mastermind behind all this.
