Jimin was the first one to wake up. As he opened his eyes, he scratched his neck from the uncomfortable turtleneck he had slept in. He decided to do his best to make some sort of breakfast for Y/N and himself while she was asleep. Standing up from the bed, he took a moment to search the plastic bags and look at the snacks that they had bought yesterday.

After grabbing a few of the snacks, Jimin made some tea and coffee out of the complimentary instant packs that the hotel offered. Well, at least they had free drinks... He looked at Y/N once again, noticing that she was still asleep, her eyes shut tightly as she leaned on her right side with her hands tucked under her pillow. An involuntary smile stretched on his lips, making him wish that they were here to spend a nice holiday instead of the bitter reality in which they were kidnapped.

A sarcastic chuckle left his lips as he thought back to So-Hyun. She must be crazy, bringing them to France... actually kidnapping them to France and making them get chased by two groups of some random dudes. What for? Jimin shook his head, completely befuddled by Y/N's enemy's actions, he just couldn't believe a person would put effort, time and money into all this; despite all the wealth, all of this is a waste.

He stressfully wiped his face and sighed before walking over to Y/N's bed. "Y/N, wake up..." he gently patted her hair as he whispered, trying to wake her up patiently. She hummed lazily and shook her head faintly as she moved Jimin's hand away. "Haha, get up lazy-bum!" he slapped her butt, not too hard, but enough for her to jolt up the bed and look at him with a scowl. "Hehe, morning there!" he snickered.

"Did you just seriously slap my ass?!?" she asked as her eyes widened looking at his smug expression. A light tint of a pink blush crept up on her cheeks as Jimin kept smiling at her cheekily, her heart instantly skipping a beat at the small proximity between them. "Move away, I-I'm hungry!" she pushed his shoulder away, making him laugh before both of then took a seat at the desk since they didn't wanna dirty their beds. "Thank you though... for the breakfast," she said in a low voice, looking down at the coffee between her hands.

"Your welcome. I don't think you would thank me for that ass-slap." he smiled as he gently reached over to pat her hair, a laugh escaping her mouth, "What should we do today and tomorrow? We are leaving on Tuesday... I know we can't take this as a vacation, but can we stay locked up in this hotel the whole time?" he sighed, "Oh, and we have to buy cheap but decent-quality pyjamas..."

"Yeah, sure. We'll also need to eat out, the menu is too expensive here... Maybe we could buy masks?" Jimin nodded as he moved the cups back to their places, so they could get new ones when the cleaners would clean up their room.

...

[Oh So-Hyun - P.O.V]

Yesterday I had fun watching those two get chased by the two groups of men I had sent after them. I hope today will be more entertaining.

I thought to myself as I sat into my father's black leather chair, those fools don't even know that my dad almost owns this island, I can get any footage; they are really stupid. My dad has sent me here in hope for me to change my almost-screwed-up future in Korea, and study here. I would have to study French, English and business. He wants me to be in control of the biggest and most prestigious hotel here.

I turned on all the footages of different streets and whatever I could get from the tiny hotel they rested in. They were going out, dressed in all-black with masks. Ha! Do they really think that will prevent me from recognizing them and having fun? How dumb from their side...

"Guys, you know what to do-" I spoke through the phone with the guys from yesterday, telling them that they have to go after Y/N and Jimin again, but I couldn't finish my sentence since the door slammed open. I quickly jolted out of my seat when I noticed my dad wearing an infuriated and disappointed look on his face. I quickly hung up the phone and looked at him, "Hey Dad, what's-"

"Stop! Just stop all of this! Why do you think this time I didn't let you win?!? There must be a reason, right? Why didn't you at least come and ask me about all this that you are doing!?!" he shouted, making my mouth go agape.

"I-I didn't know and I still have no idea w-what you are talking about." I stammered, genuinely not knowing what he meant. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose and took off his glass. If he took off his glasses looking that frustrated, it means that I probably screwed up really badly...

"The accident 12 years ago... your mother and I killed her parents by mistake. There is a slight possibility that someone holds this information and if you do- no, if we do something stupid or take the wrong step, we might fuck up. Stop all of this and stay away from her... please, not just for our family but for yourself as well, stay out of trouble and out of her way."

"What exactly did you do with that accident?" I squinted my eyes as I spoke.

"I was going after a worker that had private info about our company and that was willing to give it out. But we had the wrong car-number, so the people that I sent to get into a car-crash with them caught Y/N's parents instead of the real people I saw looking for-"

"N-no way..." I shook my head stepping backwards. It was embarrassing and it made me feel ridiculous, I couldn't possibly back up just like that...

"There is, so please leave her alone. It's over Oh So-Hyun..."

I dropped onto my knees once my dad was out of the security-footage room, a tear trickled down my cheek as I held onto my dad's seat from the floor. Rocking back and forth, I let my tears come out, not knowing exactly why was I crying. The only thing I knew was that my revenge was over before it even came to its original ending where I would embarrass Y/N in front of the whole school.

To be continued...
