It was most definitely not Taehyun's fault for having an obsession with video games. If anything it was Yeonjun's fault for getting him into it. But it appears that his parents were very sick of the electricity bills as well as the constant wish list filled with various types of game controllers, consoles, discs for games and so on and so forth. So his parents declared that from now on, he would have to fund his own gaming life.

Which was part of the problem.

Taehyun had no money.

So when he lamented so to Yeonjun, the older boy had half-heartedly supplied him with advice, "Get a job, dumbass."

Ah. That could work.

Except he had no idea where and how to get a job.

Apparently, luck was on his side.

Yeonjun had mentioned a couple of times that he and his sort-of girlfriend Yeji had been frequenting a cafe that is recruiting employees, and assured him that the job was easy and the pay good.

That was all it had to take for Taehyun to walk through the doors and request for a position within the staff members, and he had walked out with a spring in his step.

However, it was not as smooth-sailing as promised.

Having to memorise a lengthy list of recipes just for the drinks menu as the new barista was more challenging than expected.

Also, he may or may not have labelled cups wrongly.

"Taehyun, why is this customer's drink a caramel mocha? She ordered a cashew milk latte," Jisu asked as she frowned at a cup with hasty marker scrawls.

Taehyun froze, then managed out, "Then...I might have given the cashew milk one to our previous customer."

"Chaeryeong?" Jisu asked carefully, her voice laced with the message: if I am right I will murder you.

"Was that her name-" Taehyun didn't get to finish before Jisu ripped her apron off and went racing out of the shop.

Chaeryeong, already walking happily, completely oblivious, had taken quite a few sips, the cup almost half done. Her eyebrows creased as her tongue took a moment to process the taste.

"Cashew?" She muttered before she felt her face flush hot.

"Chaeryeong!" Jisu caught up with her, and said, "Oh, god, your face, can you breathe okay?" Immediately she felt her throat close up. "Where's your EpiPen?" Jisu asked, her hands fluttering at the many zips of the girl's bag.

Chaeryeong, not really in a great state to reply, tugged at the smallest pocket, which Jisu frantically ripped open and yanked out the allergy medication. Once it was administered, Jisu managed to exhale in relief and dug out her phone to dial for an ambulance.

"It's okay," Chaeryeong tried to say, but Jisu waved her concern away, before rattling off their location to the emergency number.

AN: Okay the reaction wouldn't happen so fast, it probably would have only happened after like at least 10 minutes after she had taken the first sip, so im sorry
