Never underestimate your opponent. It was the first lesson you learn when studying across the world with the best fighters. As a second born in your family, you weren't the one who gets all the attention. After finding out that your passion lies in combat fighting, you immediately ask permission to travel the world and was allowed to go but have to come home when you have finished your travels. Eager to start her journey, you quickly left after her parent's 15th anniversary. But after all this time of not having discussion about future events, you never expected for this to happen to as she received a letter from your mother.

The morning you were preparing to leave Braavos and go back to the Free Cities, your packing was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Um... just a minute, please." said (y/n) while closing her trunk and slightly opening the door. Seeing a maid handing you a scroll of letter, you immediately say thank you and were confused on why the letter was sent to you. Opening and finally reading it, you were shocked by the news and dropped the letter to the floor.

Dear my lovely daughter (y/n),

You have changed so much these past years and after many offers and consideration, your father and I have decided to propose an alliance between you and the oldest Stark son, Robb. Ned and your father are good friends since their childhood and were excited to bond your family even more. As you know, your brother have married Margaery Tyrell (Well now is Margaery (y/l/n) and he's still holding a grudge on you being not present at his wedding) and he will be escorting you to Winterfell to meet your new family with you. I have arranged for you to come back to Westeros as soon as this letter arrived. Don't even try to escape or the guards I have sent you will forced you to come home,

Your beloved mother, (y/m/n)

You haven't noticed how long you have been too caught up on your mind until another knock on the door made you snap out of your thoughts. Opening the door once again, you see two of your family guards standing straight in front of your door, ready to take you away from the exciting journeys you have planned. Handing them your bags, you were behind them as they walked to the direction of the docks.

Sleeping during most of your ship ride to Westeros, you were awakened as you smell the stink that were the common smell around the Westeros docks. You said your goodbyes to the lovely captain and his crew when the two guards were busy moving your trunks. Seeing your horse, you approach her and pat her head. Suddenly a hand covered your eyes and you immediate reaction was to punch the stranger using the training you have learned these past years. Hearing a familiar voice of hurt from the stranger, you quickly turn around to see your brother holding his nose after getting punched by you.

"Oh my lord! (y/b/n), sorry! You just caught me by a surprise. Here, let me help you!" said you while offering your hand. You pulled him up while he try to balance himself. "You've grown so much little sis! Let's head to your new home!" said your brother with a cheeky smile on his face. Hearing the word "new home", your face turn sour and the thoughts that had left you came back again.

Along the way with a few stops for resting and eating, (y/b/n) and you catch up even though you both have sent many letters these past years. From his new family to your worst scars from combat, time has pass so much that you don't realize you have arrived at the cold Winterfell in the North. The gates open and you found yourself scared for the life waiting for you.

Seeing that the Starks have waited for you, you and your brother step down from your horses and walked to the family awaiting you. Bowing, your brother then said "Lord Stark, it's an honor to be here for our alliance. Apologies for my parents not being here as my grandfather has suddenly became ill and requested for them to come to him instead." Smiling at your brother, Lord Stark shake the hand offered to him by your brother and said "It's my pleasure, Lord (y/f/n). Your father and I have exchanged letters for quite some time now. Please come in, the cold will get harsher as the night fell." Exchanging smiles and simple greetings, (y/b/n) and you enter the castle with the Starks right in front of you.

A few days has passed and the thoughts on your mind hasn't settled down. Not really conversing with anyone other than your brother, you rarely talked to your future husband or his family. Decided that today will be a new day, you wear the shirt and trousers you usually wear while practicing combat and head down to the yard to practice your archery. Arriving there, you seem to catch the right time as no one was there yet. Putting down your equipment, you grabbed your bow and arrow and started to shoot at the targets that had been set up.

Being in your own zone, you didn't realize that (y/b/n) has been watching from above. At a sudden, an unknown hand hold your brother's shoulder and the stranger said "Who are you looking at, eh?" It was Robb Stark, (y/n)'s future husband and one of the Starks that have gone close to your brother. "Just my sister... who I think you supposed to be close with?" asked your brother to the man standing next to him. With a longing gaze, Robb just replied 'Yes. She's different, isn't she?"
