Present ...

Alex pov :

P pete - Can't you do a single thing properly ??...

P pete yelled at me .....I flinched in fear ... I just joined two days ago as his assistant .... My name is Alex ...

Alex - iam sorry detective pete ..... I lost the evidence ....

P pete - GET OUT !!....

Alex - Yes detective....

I left his cabin and went to my seat .... I peeked at him ...he caught his head and bent his head ....I sighed and looked at my laptop ....from 2 days i am observing him .... Doesn't he know how to smile ??.... Why he always maintain that angry face ??..... Suddenly P tin called me ... He is another detective .... P pete and p tin always work as a team ....

P Tin - Alex .....

Alex - yes P  ....

I went to his cabin ....he looked at me ...he always wears that cold face but not scary like p pete ....

P Tin - Don't take pete's words to your heart okay??.... he is a good person ... hmm ??.... Don't misunderstand him ...okay ??...

Alex - Why P pete always get angry P ??.... He didn't even smiled at me ....

P Tin - he isn't smiling to anyone lately ....actually .... He lost someone who is important to him ....he isn't like this from the start ...he changed a lot ... Anyway ...keep it aside .... Don't upset him that's it !!....

Alex - Okay P.... But .... Can I ask you something ??...

P tin nodded ...

Alex - From how many years you know P  Pete??

P Tin -  Hmmm... Like 10 years..... We studied together and he is my only best friend from the start ...why ??

I nodded ...

Alex - you ...you saw P pete smiling P ??...

P tin smiled ...

P tin - i know his smile ....don't be sad .... He will be okay after sometime .... Don't disturb him ...okay ??..

I smiled and nodded ....

Alex - Okay P ....

Tin - Okay.....go to work..... but don't irritate him....he is not himself now a days !!!......you must be patient while he is talking to you okay....

I nodded and went to my place .... So p pete isn't like this from start ....i looked at him ....he is writing something ...he look stressed ... I should gain a compliment from him ...i should work hard ....i focused on my work ...

Pete pov :

My new assistant lost the evidence papers ... They are important !!....I know he is new to this .....he will learn gradually himself....Calm down Pete!!!!..I said to myself.

My head hurts so much these days ... I looked the ring on my finger and smiled....i touched it and my heart feels heavy ...tears are blurring my eyes .... I breathed in heavily and controlled them .....

I opened the desk, found one candy and smiled at it .... I took it and smiled at it ...my head is filled with his words ..." Don't cry naa baby ... This candy is for you ....don't you like this candy ??.." tears are rolling on my cheeks....

Pete - Calm down Pete!!!!...calm down! Everything will be alright!!.... Ae will come to you soon ....

I completed my work and went to home .... I went to my room and showered .... I wore my night dress and went to the dining table ...

Pete - Aunt jiew....iam hungry.....

Aunt - coming young master ....

Pete - where is mom??...she is still in the office ??...

Aunt - she is home dear ....wait I will call the owner madam ....

She went to call mom ....mom came to me and sat beside me ....

Mom - How's your day Pete?? 

Pete - Nothing interesting mom..
 
Aunt brought the food to the dining table and served me ..... This isn't shrimp soup !!....
 
Pete - Where is my shrimp soup???

Aunt - i didn't made it today young master .... I will do it tomorrow okay .... Look i made your favourite today ...don't you like meat ball fried rice ??... See ...

I looked at the meat ball fried rice and pushed the plate away from me....I hit the table angrily ....

Pete - I WANT SHRIMP SOUP!!...that's it !!... You said you will make it tomorrow  right ??....then i will eat tomorrow ....

I went to my room in anger ....

Mom pov :

   Pete yelled at jiew and went to his room .... I sighed and caught my head ...

 Jiew - Madam !!!!.... what did I do wrong????..... I didn't made shrimp soup because i know young master will cry while eating it!!!!...

She wiped her tears ....

Mom - iam sorry jiew ....

She shook her head ....

Jiew - no mam ....please don't apologise....i know young master from childhood ... But from the last month I saw him cry every night while eating the soup.... So I made his favorite to make him happy !!!..( sob )... he didn't even taste his favorite food !!!!......not his favourite , he didn't eat anything except rice noodles and shrimp soup since young master ae left him!!!

Mom - I know that jiew....but please make rice noodles and shrimp soup every day!!!!..... otherwise he won't eat !!!.... Since ae left him he is eating only ae's favorites..... He will cry ...but at least he is eating...

She nodded ....

Mom - My son already became a person  without his soul.... he is alive because he has a hope that ae will return to him one day......( sob).... But who will tell him that ae is dead!!.... He is still believing that ae is alive....( sob )..As a mother I can't see him like this he is hurting himself every day.....

I wiped my tears and breathed in ...

Aunt - It's okay mam........young master will be alright....I know that he has already changed a lot, he is not the pete we know mam..... Pull yourself to make him brave mam!!!. Otherwise we won't be able to stop him..  Atleast we should be there to console him whenever he is crying...... have your dinner......I will make him shrimp soup, he said he's hungry....

I nodded and smiled at her .....

Mom - Thank you for taking care of my son kha...

Jiew - it's okay mam ....

She went to the kitchen ...suddenly we both heard screams and cries from upstairs ...." Come back ae ~~~~ i love you ....."

We looked at each other and rushed upstairs ....
